Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely large field behind the pub. Small toilet block, spotlessly clean, a shower £2 charge and washing up point. Lovely and quiet overnight.
Great pub with friendly owners and locals. Didn't eat, but the food looked great and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Beautiful site set in a quiet rural location. Only small with 6 spacious hardstandings with EHU. Not sure if the surrounding grass is used for tents. We arrived to a warm welcome from the owner who explained where everything was. A really nice friendly man. Ask to look at his collection of old cars, motorcycles, tractors, farm machinery and memorabilia. Really interesting.
On the site, there are two very clean toilets, fresh water pipes and Elsan point. There is also a static caravan which is available to use. This is where the shower (lots of lovely boiling water)is situated. There is also a fully stocked kitchen so if you want to do some cooking or washing up it is ideal. There is a comfortable lounge as well in the caravan with a TV etc. Absolutely perfect if you are in a tent and the weather is bad.
There is a lovely friendly pub 10 minutes walk from the site. Be warned, they don't serve food, but the ale is good.
To sum up, fantastic, clean, peaceful site, great owners, lovely views and a friendly dog who comes around to visit. We will definitely be back.
