Conic View powered cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely clean facilities, nice pitches and a short walk to Loch Lomond.
Disliked A lot of signs around the place which were not worded in a particularly friendly manner. The odd "please" and "thankyou" would not have gone amiss.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have signs up regarding not wearing outdoor shoes in the wet room cubicles and not using talcum in the toilets and keeping the external doors in the toilets closed. We always used to put please and thank you on them but felt that all the extra wording detracted from the message on the notice. I would love to not have to put notices up but some customers need guidance on what is appropriate or needed to maintain clean, tidy and safe facilities.

Liked The location was brilliant for us. We were participating in the Monster the Loch race and we were just a short walk away.
Jan (Hegarty :D) was so welcoming and funny. She really looked after our group of weary rowers in the very nice restaurant.
Disliked The toilets and showers were appalling. Shower and sink drains were blocked and there were only a couple of each open - the rest were locked. One of our party complained and was told something would be done about it but nothing was. Luckily, we were in our campervan with our own facilities so we didn't need to venture in. I felt sorry for those who were camping or in smaller vehicles without their own facilities.
The camp site has a very austere and deserted feel about it with large areas of gravel and no landscaping. It's right next door to a lodge park which looks a bit like an army barracks at the moment. I think that maybe this is a new venture and I hope that they are planning to build a new toilet block and spend some money on making the camp ground more appealing.

Liked Super clean and well equipped facilities. Wendy has tried to think of everything that we might need and was really friendly and welcoming.

Liked Friendly welcome and, for a larger site, a distinct lack of signs around telling campers what not to do!
Clean and well equipped and close to Park & Ride
