Field 1 primitive grass campsite (small)
Liked Lovely setting with trees, flowers and shrubs. Good size pitches. Excellent clean toilets and hot showers. Friendly helpful owner. Good location for a stopover when travelling on M5 motorway. There are lots of attractions nearby which we did not have time to see on this short trip but we would like to return. Good value for money.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Spacious pitches. A peaceful back to basics campsite with clean portable toilet, pot washing sink and water. There is a chemical waste point if needed. Good location on the edge of a village ( which has a Co-Op) and easy to get into Leicester. Tropical Birdland next to the site has a tearoom although we didn't have a chance to use it. Friendly and helpful owner. Good instructions for arrival.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Great spot for a stopover. Enjoyed an evening meal in the pub which had lovely food and friendly staff. Camping field was very wet when we arrived due to rain and we parked on the level hard standing area at rear of car park.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Handy for one night on our way to Ferry Terminal in Troon. Also close to a big Tesco to stock up. Peaceful site surrounded by fields and near woodland.
Only one shower but it's a small site and there was only one other camper there when we stayed so this wasn't an issue. Clean facilities and the shower was lovely and hot.

Liked Good location. Nice big pitches, good toilet and shower block and a lovely on site restaurant/ cafe. Good laundry facilities (cheaper than other campsites I've been to) and the on- site kitchen was great with cooker hob, proper oven and microwave which we used.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Wonderful location on the River Teme with great views all around and wildlife. Lots of birds including Herons and Kingfishers. Sheep were grazing all around. Very peaceful as not near any main roads. The train does come past but only a few times a day and did not bother us at all. Friendly staff and excellent clean toilets and showers. Plenty of space to camp. Great walks from the site which is on the Offas Dyke path. A short walk into Knighton with several shops for groceries. Pubs within 20 minute walk although we didn’t visit any.
There is a snack hut on site selling hot drinks, cakes and delicious ice cream.
