Mojácar, Almeria, Spain
Power optional gravel campsite
Liked Very clean showers and toilets, host/owner friendly and helpful. Decent sized plots on lower level. Quiet and out of the way. Electricity seemed to work well
Disliked Very basic site, a good 10 minute drive away from Mojácar, so you need transport if you are staying there.

From the manager: Thank you very much for your time. It seems that your stay was quite satisfactory, we do not understand the reason for your low rating. You may not have chosen the campsite according to your needs or tastes. Thank
Manerba del Garda, Brescia, Italy
Powered grass and gravel campsite (lake view)
Liked The view of the lake, pitch was direct access to the lake.
Toilets and showers very clean and reception staff spoke perfect English and were very helpful and friendly.
Very quiet part of the lake compared to the other side if that’s what suits you
Disliked Pitches were on the small side as was the access road. Only one washing machine on site servicing a lot of people.
Nearest town/ restaurant was a hike and all uphill, so electric bike or car etc needed especially if you want to see lake Garda.

Pietra Ligure, Savona, Italy
Power optional cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked The town a 10 minute walk from the site, lovely area nice restaurants
Disliked Very small pitches, we were not offered a larger pitch and we had one of the largest motorhomes which resulted in us clipping the side of our van!
Shower and toilet blocks were well below par considering the cost of the pitch and in comparison to the other sites we have stayed at.
Also couldn’t get on the pitch until 3pm.
