Liked The pitches were lovely , not all in a row like some sites , even tho site was full the area we were in (meadowbrook) had a great lay out and didn’t feel over looked or cramped .
I would recommend this site for mid week campers in term time due to lack of showers and toilets .
Disliked Not enough showers , toilets and sinks for the size of the site especially when fully booked. If you wanted to skip the shower queue there were only 2 sinks in the toilet area with just 4 toilets . Wi-Fi only at games room area and signal was poor or zero at pitches which was frustrating if wanting to use internet to search for places to go etc.

From the manager: Thank you for you feedback and we loved that you found the campsite had a great lay out and you didn't feel over looked or cramped , and you enjoyed that we are different from most campsites as we try to have a more natural setting, which adds to our wildlife preservation. In the male and female toilets there are four each. We have just enjoyed the hottest May ever and our campers enjoying perhaps longer ones than normal, which created the bit of the back log and wait for you which we apologise for. On feed back from our customer satisfaction survey, which is given out when our guests arrive, we found that the majority like to stop their children going on laptop and electric devises at the pitch , so they can enjoy the nature, woods and play areas around them However we happy to re-assess the Wi-Fi situation again and monitor for greater demand.. ..campers can use our WIFI in the play barn. The reception area is stocked with terrific ideas on days out, and staff are always happy to suggest places.

Liked Lovely spot close to walks and the pub food is exceptional
Disliked sadly we were not pitched next to each other as requested many weeks in advance, there were vacant pitches so it could have been possible.
The single toiler and shower was a little disappointing as the cost of the pitch would to be indicate better facilities.

Liked The view from the bottom field is truly amazing , watching the sun set was just so peaceful , lovely quiet site .
Disliked The showers and toilets really let the site down , the toilets closest to the bottom field were neglected and I’m not sure when they were last cleaned , if the dirty mop outside had anything To do with the cleaning then I think they would be better not cleaning them !
