Powered grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Fantastic campsite. Really quiet with lovely wild surroundings. Wee farm shop onsite up in the barn that sells what you might have left at home and some local produce. Juice, milk, meats etc and coffee. Clean toilet facilities and brilliant showers on site too with washing machines if you need it.Wifi is excellent up in the barn also.Brilliant pitches and plenty of space with fire pits and picnic benches for each pitch. Also a lake to fish for carp included. Overall a fantastic stay with family and friends and will return.
Disliked Compost toilets…the site had compost toilets at the pitches but clean flushing are just a 5 min walk (or drive) up the hill in the barn. Understand why the site had these trying to keep enviro friendly…just not for me or my family. Be great if there was the option of flushing toilets closer to site.

Liked Shower facilities were new/clean. Availability was good - never struggled and it was a bank holiday weekend. Very close to shops/supermarket. Staff were very friendly. Also, from the tent pitches it was close enough to let our kids walk the he play park on-site with their friends. On-site shop was well stocked and you were allowed fire pits as longs as it’s off the ground.
Disliked Showers were a challenge, only lasted for around 15secs…would have been better if it was push button. Could be more selection. In the restaurant for food.
