Powered grass campsite
Liked Lots to do - golf, fishing, park, shops and a bar/clubhouse. Overall site facilities - we’ve been a few times and enjoyed the campsite.
Disliked We unfortunately had a caravan/van and car show up right next to our tent at 10.30pm with a family with 5 children who then decided to start unpacking everything and this went on until almost 1am. Banging van/car doors, shouting and swearing, lights shining directly into our tent and insettled children crying. This then started again at 3.30am with the adults looking for “rizlas” in their car and banging/beeping the horn. Unfortunately this completely ruined our nights sleep and we were shocked how inconsiderate some people can be. This has now made us think we will probably not be back as we feel there should be more control over who enters the campsite at that time. Fair enough if they were caught in traffic or working or something but to start unpacking everything at that time with so much noise right next to someone else’s tent is extremely selfish. Our son couldn’t sleep at all due to the level of noise and the lights from the van shining into our tent.

Liked We loved this campsite. There is so much to do from the café, shops, crazy golf and the clubhouse if you want to or just very relaxed if you prefer to. We enjoyed a mixture of both. There is a children’s play area and so much open space for children to run around. The clubhouse was very reasonable both with drinks and arcades/pool. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Liked Everything! This is such a beautiful little campsite. We were first time campers and absolutely loved it. The setting is so peaceful but my little boy (9 years old) loved the trampolines, tree swings, woods and just lots of space to run around. The facilities are amazing with easy access to a toilet, showers, outdoor washing up and a lovely little honesty shop. You could also hire firepits which we will hopefully do next time. It is within walking distance of a lovely little village/pub/park and great for dog walks. Halesworth is not far by car and has some lovely little shops. We got some wood fired pizzas from Halesworth and took them back to camp. Cannot wait to visit again and hopefully for longer next time as we could only do a short trip this time due to work commitments. Owner is extremely friendly and welcoming but lets you get on with your stay which is lovely. Loved it.
