Liked Pitch space, parking by tent, cafe, wash block location, covered benches, access to river & footpaths, proximity to local pub & town, price, friendly & helpful staff.

Disliked Shower pressure was low. Toilet paper was very thin, just broke off into pieces.

Liked A nice spacious campsite with friendly coffee bar and occasional pizza.

Disliked Would be useful to have a communal fridge & charging station for those without hookup.

From the manager: Thank you for your review and feedback we hope you'll come back and see us again soon! We will happily charge phones etc. at the house, but a communal charging point could be useful. A fridge is definitely something to consider, we did have one previously but for various reasons, we removed it. We do have a freezer, you would have seen this of course, but for the benefit of people reading this, we have a freezer for ice packs and where ice packs can also be borrow, always good to bring a cool-box/bag.

Liked The natural environment Fire pit Spacious pitch View Gas powered shower Location Quiet

Disliked The pitch we chose was a bit slopped, so kept sliding of the sleeping mat. Other flatter pitches were available but we liked the distant location under the trees.
