Highbridge, Somerset, England
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite (riverside, adults only)
Liked Honestly liked everything.
So peaceful, it's a good job they had their own defibrillator, as they might have needed it to get us going.
Friendly, clean, quiet, excellent off-lead walks for dogs, plenty of wildlife and birds (we watched Kingfishers),takeaway delivers for a small fee AND the ice cream van turned up unexpectedly. 😃😃👍
We didn't use the spa, as we were already relaxed.
Plenty of local activities, but because we only live an hour away, we had already seen them, so just chilllllllllled.
Disliked Tried hard to find something wrong.
Nothing. Even paying 50p for shower gave me plenty of time and some spare, nice and hot too.

Liked Very easy access.
Facilities plentyfull and clean and more toilets being built.
Site run by very helpful lady.
Pub food is excellent.
Great walks along river and canal.
Previous comments aboumuddy walk to toilet block has be rectified with new gravel. Obviously nobody can predict.predict the amount.amount of rain that had fallen the previous week. No signs of excessive mud during our visit.
Disliked Motorhome grey waste a bit inconveniently positioned so had to use bucket rather than hose or drain.

Williton, Somerset, England
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Friendly staff and exceptionally clean facilities.
View of sea and clean beach to explore the waterfalls.
Very child friendly.
Shop has a good variety of pocket money bits for kids.
Bar and entertainment areas look clean and inviting, with some areas being dog friendly.
Plots horizontal to sea have better drainage and views.
We have now been twice and liked it as a quick weekend away with granddaughter.
Disliked Disappointed the onsite shop was not open until Easter, as granddaughter took money to spend and no other shops within easy walking distance.
Games room was a little dated and staff needed to be asked to unstick some machines - needs an hours TLC.
Plot 6 & 7 got very wet and muddy due to excessive rain. (Obviously not their fault).
WiFi a bit pricey.

Cirencester, Gloucestershire, England
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (large)
Liked Excellent food in the pub, lovely staff and dog friendly.
Easy access to pitches and clean.
EHU, grey waste, toilet waste, drinking water, recycling, toilet and shower available.
Plenty of adjacent fields for dogs to free run and easy to walk to the source of the river Themes.
Disliked Only 1 toilet and shower, which was basic but functional.
Public footpath between site and rail line is not suitable for dogs, as you need to lift dogs over the stiles. Use the field behind the pub or go under railway bridge and take path on the left.
Some traffic noise and train needs to toot occasionally due to footpath crossing.

Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Site is exactly like the pictures.
Very clean and well maintained. Plenty of nice hot water in the showers and a family room with water that was temperature adjustable for children.
Staff very friendly and helpful, as they had no trouble changing us from grass to hard pitch so there was some more shade for our dog during the heatwave.
They also let us have 2 friends visit for the evening and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Plenty of local walks and canal not far. All you can eat Chinese restaurant 1.5 miles away.
Amazing views and clear sky for star gazing. We actually experienced the biggest red moon ever.
Other reviews say the traffic noise was a problem, but our pitch was closest to the road and there was no problem.
Will definitely go again.
