Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Nice small campsite with some amazing views, nice little play park, nice washing up area, and a little on site shop. What more can you ask for. Staff were super friendly and one guy complimented us on how well mannered our child was which was lovely to hear.
There was also a pool table, table tennis and air hockey (my favourite) not going to lie it got a little bit competitive between us adults at one stage 😂
You can also go down to the campsite just down the road that has a slightly larger farm shop and has an arcade.
Disliked The girl screaming in the morning trying to wake her friend up so they could go out to play! (Not the campsite fault). Also as the site got busier there seemed to be more and more wasps (but hey you are in nature). The dog barking from a nearby house for over an hour (at 11pm) on the first night wasn't fun either, again not the camp site fault
Although toilets were regularly checked and were mostly kept clean, they were rather tight on space, even the children were moaning about it.
Again showers, good temperature, but the shower head was broken, really small and hard to change, being that close to spider when getting changed is not my idea of fun and the sheer heat in the room was overwhelming.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Amazing space, lots to do, the water with the pirate ship felt safe and a great space, the rope swing, my child could have spent all day there.
Lots of space and you don't feel on top of each other.
The food is amazing and generous portions, best of all the staff are so friendly and great with the kids.
Disliked Toilet get a little dirty during the day but are very well maintained compared to a lot of camp sites. The water in the shower area gets cold between 10-7pm. The was someone playing loud music until 1am and then started again at 5.30am the next day, but the next evening there was no music so I think the warden must of have a word with them.
My main dislike (but I'm fully aware there is nothing they can do about this) is that there are so many gnats, we are all bitten head to toe, I've never experienced anything like it..

All-weather powered cement/asphalt campsite
Liked Brilliant views across Axminster Valley, the toilet blocks were clean and tidy, good water pressure and temperature.there was a kettle, microwave, freezer and washing machines all available in the kitchen which we made the most of.
Most importantly during the heat wave of 35 degrees we spent most of our time in the pool which was a god send. Nice play area for the kids. Great food places on the door step.
Disliked The shop didn't have much in the ways of dinners, the pub wasn't open much due to covid therefore had to pack everything up in the van to go out for food if we wasn't organised enough to bring food with us.
