The peace and quiet

Having to open and close 2 sets of gates to get to camping field.

Very well kept campsite. Lots of space, taps on pitches. Friendly owners.
We stayed Jubilee weekend and was allowed to have daughter and grandchildren come for a BBQ.
On a hill lovely Views. Nice walks.

Beautiful location. Near market Harborough. Walk across fields 45 mins drive 10 mins. Clean well kept site. Free elec hookup. No elsan point but local tip, there is one at Foxton Locks bottom car park. Wi-Fi available I found a bit patchy but got a very good 4g data signal so used that.

Friendly owners that were over helpful. Would recommend for a relaxing break with stunning views.

The site was simplicity itself, all the basics and with a great view thrown in. I love a working farm so tractors working just added value. Jo was friendly and welcoming

Area around the gate now badly rutted and needs tidying. Perhaps a road sign at the end of the road to confirm location.

Nice quiet site in countryside with views towards Market Harborough. Electric and water right by pitch.

Hardly a dislike, but we did have to do a double-check to make sure we were using the right entrance as the double gates seemed just to be for access to the farmyard. It was only when I got out and had a look I could see the next set of gates into the camping field at the other side of the yard!

Owners are very friendly and invested in your stay.
Plenty of fresh water taps in field.

Open to the elements, at the top of the hill, so can be windy.
Elson is a 1,000 litre plastic bund with steps to reach. (Not so much a dislike but just pointing out)

Very welcoming owners, beautiful views, very large pitches and most importantly quiet and relaxing. Will definitely return!
