Peaceful, clean, flat site, plenty of water and electricity points,

I stayed for 2 nights in August in the tent field at this lovely back to basics budget site on a working farm. Although PitchUp was a bit ambiguous, I can confirm that there was a portaloo provided for the tent field during August - I loved that it was a larger, more luxurious version than the standard ones, and it was always kept super clean.
There were wonderful views from my tent across the valley towards Market Harborough. It was very quiet at night (except for the owls!).
Jo was great and emailed helpful photos of the farm entrance beforehand so I knew what to look for, together with details of some local circular walks, one of which I did. I also enjoyed the morning sunrises, relaxing by my tent, and walking to Market Harborough along the old railway line path from nearby Great Oxendon.
I look forward to returning next year.

A real shame that they aren’t allowed a porta loo for longer than the month of August…. A dislike for “ government “ ruling such a shame,

Excellent information email pre arrival. Friendly welcome from owners at arrival and departlure. Level pitch, short grass, very well maintained. Fantastic panoramic view. Good value, peaceful.

We had a fantastic stay over the weekend, the views from the site are incredible! The site is very safe for young children to run around and explore as it is all fenced in. Plenty of space to go for a walk with the dog. Owner of the site is lovely and happy to help with anything. We will be returning in the future.

The portable toilet in the field was nice and clean.

The clover/grass on the field was too long, guaranteed wet feet with any rain and on that early morning trip to the loo.
The field slopes, which may not be ideal for some tent campers.
