Disliked: The state and smell of the bathrooms were beyond disgusting! Neither the loos or showers were pleasant and it made the visit really hard. There were flies on the top of the showers and flushs in 2/3 toilets werent working.

We have upped our cleans as the rain we had over your one night stay was really heavy meaning lots of mud being walked in the toilets which is really difficult to keep on top of however we do try our best.
If the toilets weren't flushing between our checks you should of let us know in the office and we would of resolved the issue.

Liked: Great stay for the week. Close to Winlatter forest, for mountain biking and good walking.Fairly basic site , right in the middle of North Lakes, it had all we needed. Close to a pub , shops are about 4 miles away, walks straight from site.

Liked: We could all camp together as there was plenty of space, the field that we were in also had no children around which was good for both us and the dogs. Very secure so we could let the dogs off the leads around us without them escaping!
Disliked: The toilets and showers were a bit dirty but with the rubbish weather you can’t really help that most of the time and with the amount of people using them it isn’t a surprise it’s hard to keep them clean!
The weather, which is absolutely nothing to do with the site!!!!
Site would have been even more beautiful in the sun with a campfire and a bbq going, instead we took shelter in the nearby pub haha!

Friendly greeting at check inDisliked: Toilet and shower facilities were not great. They were very dirty and smelled very badly. You don’t expect too much for facilities at a pop-up site but it was particularly unpleasant during our stay.

Thankyou or your review the rain this weekend has been torrential which won't have helped with your camping trip. We regularly clean the toilets and showers but with muddy boots in and out and the amount of rain we had mopping was pointless! However we did keep them well stocked and upped our cleans!
We control as much as we can but we can't control what felt like a monsoon 48 hours 😂

Liked: Beautiful location, friendly staff, facilities clean and well stocked.
Disliked: Ground got very waterlogged and muddy. Toilets and showers are portable cabins so very basic.

We are only able to open for 28 days so we have to use portable facilities however we hire the very best facilities possible and clean constantly!
It'd difficult with flat fields because they are great for camping but when there's rain it does get wet, so much for our heatwave August! 😂
