    Clean site, quiet in the adults field. Nice walks to the river. Friendly staff very helpful.
    Disliked: 

    Followed iPhone directions which, in a motor home is a bad idea, taking single lane country roads. Staff helped with different directions to avoid the tiny roads…

    This was our third visit to Mains Farm and definitely won’t be our last. This is such a lovely site and no stay is ever long enough!

    The toilets and showers are always spotless, as is the site in general. The honesty shop is an essential visit and I keep coming back for the apple and tomato chutney!

    The walk to the river is just minutes away and you can spend a lovely afternoon sitting by the river and playing in the water.

    We walked to the Lacy caves and Meg and her daughters site on this visit, which was a lovely day out. The site have a map that you can follow for local attractions.

    The owners are so friendly and helpful and make you feel so welcome from the moment you set foot on the site.
    Can’t wait to get back!

    This farm site is absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous countryside all around and a lovely walk down to the river. Easy 1 mile walk to the village and pubs. Owners are so welcoming. Facilities clean and excellent standard. Lovely extra touches like the honesty shop with cake and chocolates. Really enjoyed it.

    Friendly informal site, well laid out with plenty of space. Facilities basic but adequate. Good walks from the site and an excellent pub in nearby village which is a short cycle ride away.
    Fresh eggs from honesty shop was nice.
    Seating on the river Eden was nice for passing the time.
    Disliked: 

    Site got busy over weekend but rules around noise were adhered to.
    Minor point for motorhomes, a drive over grey waste disposal point would be an improvement.

Thank you for your comments. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay.
We do have a drive over gray water disposal point. However, you need to ask us for directions as it is on an area not open to the public. Most people ask when they are leaving. Perhaps this is a point we should add to Pitch up notes. Thank you for pointing this out.

    Lovely peaceful site. Robert and Julie were very friendly and helpful. Great walks from the site. Good amenities. We will definitely book to stay here again.

From the manager...

Reception is at the Farm House - marked with a sign post and bunting. We also put out a Pitch List at the entrance to the field with the name of each guest and their Pitch number. I was in the office or farm house kitchen all day. I am sorry you could not find your way but glad you enjoyed your stay.
