Great nature reserve opposite

I arrived on a Monday eve, for one night.
I felt that the pitch i was allocated was a bit exposed to the main building and positioned under a large Yew tree. So I was bringing squashed berries into vehicle and into main building.
Also in the morning Groundsmen congregate at corner of main building, which my van door opened in sight of. So felt I was on show.
Leisure facilities and restaurant and bar do not open on Monday and Tuesday. I had chosen this site for these facilities.

Nothing

We didn't stay the pitch we were allocated was like a sloping rocky car park, in fact it felt like a car park where they'd added 3 pitches, right next to the main building we were told we could use any of them but a tractor was parked on 2 of them. So even though we'd paid we decided it wasn't suitable and left. Slightly annoyed we didn't get a refund on the electric card we'd paid for, even though we didn't use any. The facilities looked OK even though again we didn't use them.

Great facilities , lovely staff , clean , really peaceful .

Healthier breakfast and food choices on the menu

The static areas are lovely and well maintained. Bar shop pool fine but bar/kitchen shut at 7pm. Shower block very modern.

The areas for touring are not maintained very well. We were on pitch 9 and felt we were just added onto the car park. The pitch areas were uneven messy and dirty.

Location perfect for me with Arnside near by

Staff are so friendly and helpful our pod was clean and warm, gym and pool clean and not too busy.Bar food delicious and beer fair priced with sky sports too 😀

Shame steam room was out of order.

Pod was clean and tidy, quiet space, nice and cosy

Long wait time to check in, had to pay additional security deposit, no path leading to camping pod which was rather slippery and muddy with the rain!

The location, facilities

Very quiet, but got busier on the Friday evening, facilities are top notch and the pool was a nice touch, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food out in Arnside as the restaurant was only open from Wednesday but the food here was far superior to the pub food in Arnside! Would recomend and would definately visit again.
For once on a site the WiFi was pretty consistant too!

Not much everything was spot on, it was a bit noisyon Friday night but no more so than other sites.
