Excellent and very clean compost loo.
Good spacious shower with 8 min. of hot water for £2 ( coin operated).
Nearby little Pub 10-12 min walk.
Fire pits at every pitch.
Great walking trails nearby.Disliked: We struggled finding it, even when using the site's 'Google Maps' directions. We missed the signs along the road. Maybe this was just us....(?)

2 night stopover to bookend Adventure Riding course.Disliked: Phone reception was not good for Plusnet but hey, mountains!
Local pubs are choosy about opening days, be prepared to drive.

Liked: We adore camping here, on The Pond in particular. The woodsy feel, the campfires, the proximity to hiking and caves, and the amazing hospitality of Jem & Caroline -- it all keeps drawing us back. There isn't much camping in the UK that compares with that in Canada (where we're from), but this does, for which we're grateful. And being off-grid is the icing on the cake.
