From the manager: Buenos días, Siento las molestias que le ha causado, pero en la puerta principal de la entrada está el teléfono para que pudieran llamar y en 10 min estaría allí el personal para hacerles la recepción. Por lo que las instalaciones no están cerrada, pero a partir de cierta hora no estamos allí y para ello está puesto el teléfono. Un saludo.

Liked: Me gusto mucho la zona de baño yel restaurante, buena comida . Buen ambiente familiar.También aceptan mascotas.

Disliked: Lo único que no hay sombra pero por lo de más está bien

Liked: The freshwater lake location is amazing. The staff at the bar/cafe by the lake were lovely

Disliked: Accessed by a miles of single track road with fee passing points; not easy in a motorhome. No one at reception from arrival at 19:00 until leaving at 08:30. No response from the bell or the numbers provided. I’d still be there now if I hadn’t worked out how to open the automatic gate myself. Misadventures facilities on site as the cafe/bar/restaurant is off-site by the beach. Huge empty restaurant open from 9:00-24:00 with a surly waitress who told me if I wanted hot food, go to the beach bar where I could get pizza and that she would only serves sandwiches (explains why it was empty). One female toilet/shower that didn’t lock & felt unsafe. Rubbish piled up by reception and the ladies toilet, which stank. Not been cleared for days & maybe even weeks

Liked: It’s a very quiet location with lovely walks along the lake.

Disliked: The site was locked when we arrived. After ringing the site telephone number a lady arrived after 15 minutes to let us in. She did not speak English but with the help of Google she was able to give us the information that we needed. There is only one toilet and shower for the men and the same again for the women for the whole camp. There is only enough hot water for one five minute shower. Everyone else will have to wait a couple of hours for the water to heat up again.

Disliked: Nous sommes repartis après avoir vu ce qu on nous proposait: un emplacement plutôt une aire de stationnement sans arbre sans rien des sanitaires en fait un sanitaire et une douche salle et cassée bref ce n est pas un camping Nous avons dû aller au restaurant à côté pour trouver quelqu un car personne sur place. Même la personne du camping que nous avons trouvé avait l air perdu , il ne savait même pas comment ouvrir le portail !

Disliked: Arrived to locked gates, after several phone calls let in and then given no info on how to open gates again. One gents and one ladies toilet, with doors that did not shut or lock or any cleaning regime. People with dogs living in a joining bungalow had dogs that would harangue and bark every time you moved outside the van. Tall weeds all around the pitch and had to do some gardening to be able to move around.

Liked: Lovely location, very quiet and peaceful right on the boarder between Spain and Portugal, the river views are absolutely beautiful. The staff are so helpful and friendly, particularly Marmen & Vicky.
