Ready for some real rural relaxation? Bring your tourer along to Agricola Siurana and you’ll be pitching among more than 35 fabulous acres of organic olive trees in the Catalonia countryside, about five minutes’ drive from Siurana. Here in the flat meadow you’ll have plenty of space to relax in a peaceful atmosphere with gorgeous views over the Empordà plain up to the Pyrenees and across to the Gulf of Roses. You will, however, have to share that space with the residents – in the form of over 9,000 organic egg-laying chickens that are lucky enough to live here all year round. Want to learn a bit more about the agriculture that goes on here? You can join a guided tour of the family-run olive oil mill, learning all about the production of this renowned extra-virgin olive oil and meeting the aforementioned chickens. And if all this has left you feeling the need to sample, all you need do is head into the café or visit the site shop, which is stocked with local produce and the farm’s own oils. Once you’ve gathered your wares, a picnic area awaits for your outdoor meals. Facilities on site have been kept to a minimum, so there’s very little to interfere with your time spent soaking up the fresh air, the views and the natural peace. All the essentials are in place, though – you’ll have access to drinking water, toilets, showers and discharge points for grey and black water.

  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • The grocery shop is open between 01/01 and 31/12.
  • Reception is unmanned after 7:30 p.m.. Please inform the park while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • A cable measuring at least 5 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.

Liked The setting was amazing in an olive grove with a great little shop selling lots of olive products and fresh bread etc
Pitches are very big and scenery is stunning with views of the Pyrenees
Loved it would definitely return

Disliked The flies lots of them but worth it for the peace and quiet of the surroundings and how beautiful it was

Liked Quiet, fab views, good facilities. The shop sold some lovely products and the owners were super friendly and informative.

Disliked There were lots of flies but they were a small price to pay for being in such a lovely setting.

Liked We booked here last minute while escaping thunderstorms and heavy downpours in France. Ideally situated for Figueres, Rosas, and the Greek/Roman Ruins at L Etalia. The site has great facilities, awesome breakfast and farm shop.

Liked Everything. Welcome, meet and greet. Spacious pitches integrated into olive groves. Extremely clean shower facilities. Three individual shower rooms, toilet, wash hand basin and electric plug for hair drying. Plenty of hot water. Dishwashing sink near pitches. Recycling/waste area. Usual facilities for campervans - grey water etc. Well stocked shop with local produce eg olive oil plus much more. Optional breakfast available (at extra charge). Order bread if required previous day for collection in morning. Peace and quiet - particularly after being on a busy French campsite for a week. Views, depending on chosen pitch. Secure. Can’t comment on wifi as didn’t use. Great restaurants within twenty minute drive. Great base for sight seeing. We loved it and would definitely return.

Shop with local ecological products very well stocked. Electricity hook up and clean showers were excellent.Staff very welcoming and pleasant.

Liked Liked every thing about this site lovely camp shop with local products you can get a beer with seating area electric hook up and showers and toilets were exceptionally clean and looked after staff were extremely friendly nothing was to much trouble looking forward to our next stay

Local attractions

Time to head out? There are hiking and bike routes you can follow from the property to give you a taste of the local area. The Romanesque Monastery of Sant Miquel de Fluvià (four kilometres away) is a good focal point for a walk, and the Aiguamolls de l'Empordà nature reserve (20 minutes’ drive) is another lovely choice for a walk and some birdwatching. This region is dotted with historic buildings to seek out – places like the ruined city of Empúries (15 minutes), the Ciutadella de Roses Museum (25 minutes), Montgrí Castle (half an hour) and the ancient Iberian city of Ullastret (half an hour). If you need a break from sightseeing, you may like to know there’s a long beach running all the way along the coast from Roses to Empúries (20 minutes if you’d like to drive straight to the beach). Of course, one can’t ignore one of the area’s most famous sons – Salvador Dalí. The Dalí Theatre and Museum in Figueres (15 minutes) is an incredible place to visit, and the Gala Dalí Castle & Museum (half an hour) also has a lot to offer.
