A beachfront site within a maritime pine forest, with dips in the Mediterranean just a short walk away and shaded afternoon siestas? Sounds like a dream, right? Or maybe it sounds like a ‘sueño’, since the site in question – Alannia El Pinar – is on the outskirts of Blanes, just at the start of the Costa Brava, about an hour’s drive north of Barcelona. For most, the main attraction here is the location: right on Platja de S’Abanell, one of the longest sandy beaches along this coast and a popular spot for watersports. If the seaside is not your jam, there is plenty to keep you entertained on site, starting with a large swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. If you feel particularly active, you might want to take part in water-fitness classes, arrange a game on the sports field or the pétanque court, or hire a bike (on site) to explore the seafront on two wheels (it’s a 10-minute ride to the centre of Blanes). The kids have a play area and organised activities ranging from games and workshops to dress-up sessions with entertainers. And the family dog is not left out either, with a dog park where it can stretch its legs. In addition to a restaurant (serving paella, pizza and sangria, among other things), there is a food shop selling local produce. Other amenities include a toilet/shower block with facilities for disabled guests, plus a drying room and a launderette.

Liked Die Lage hat uns gut gefallen und die Mitarbeiter auf dem Platz waren immer freundlich und bemüht. Die Sanitäranlagen waren schön renoviert.
Der Strand war auch sehr schön.

Disliked Zeitweise kaltes Wasser in den Duschen. Toiletten öfter defekt.
Die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption hatten von uns verlangt, dass wir einen 2. Stellplatz buchen, da wir 5 Kinder haben und damit 7 Personen waren. Was uns ganz uns gar unverständlich war, dass unser 2. Stellplatz, den wir bezahlen mussten, dann nochmal an andere Gäste vermietet wurde, denn unsere Kinder haben natürlich bei uns geschlafen. Folglich wurde doppelt abkassiert. Es ist schade, dass für eigene Kinder keine Regel gefunden wurde, sondern dann noch ein Geschäft daraus gemacht wurde. Das hat irgendwie einen miesen Eindruck im Urlaub hinterlassen.

Liked Brilliant access to beach it’s basically on the beach. Lovey town in walking distance with lots to do for all ages. Really great place with lovely restaurants.

Liked Direkt am Strand, schöner Pool, wunderschöner naturbelassener Platz - trotzdem alles da was man braucht. Viele Bäume, die Schatten bieten.

Disliked Die sanitären Anlagen haben die ein oder andere Reparatur nötig. Der Bäcker auf dem Platz ist schon vor neun ausverkauft. WIFI muss gegen einen Aufpreis von 15 Euro pro Woche erworben werden - klappt aber leider nur mittelmäßig

Liked Schöne große Plätze alle nicht weit zum Strand es war alles entspannt auch am Strand ! Schöne gepflegte Anlage!

Disliked Wir fanden das Personal nicht freundlich es hat keiner für nötig gehalten zu Grüßen egal wem wir begegnet sind!
Restaurant haben wir teilweise bis 20 min gewartet bis jemand kam!
Toiletten werden viel zu selten sauber gemacht und ein Mega Problem war, das fast überall nur heißes Wasser kam !

Camping in Lloret de Mar ist eindeutig der bessere Ort als Blanes.

Liked -Schöner Platz im Halbschatten,sehr nette Arbeiter,die sich um den Platz kümmern!
- Die Moderatoren waren einfach spitze,voller Elan von früh bis abends,man hat sofort gute Laune,wenn man sie sieht!
- Taxifahrer super nett,kommen innerhalb 5 Minuten,ist sogar für uns in Laden fragen gegangen,ob es Briefmarken gibt...freuen sich,wenn man ein bißchen spanisch kann!😃🤩
- Anmeldung zwar freundlich,aber sehr distanziert,ernst...
- Das Wasser im Meer ist der absolute Hammer! Klar,man sieht den Meeresboden noch in 4 m Tiefe, türkisblau und warm, aber keine einzige Muschel...

Disliked - tagelang fehlt Seife in den Sanitäranlagen
- Toilettenpapier fehlt in vielen Toiletten,oder bleibt im Spender so stecken, dass es sich nicht rausziehen lässt
- Ich erwarte,wenn ich früh 7.30 aufs Klo muss, dass bereits alles sauber ist und nicht,wenn dann alle aufstehen um die Anlage zu nutzen,dass erst gewischt wird und der Boden nass ist...
- Waschmaschinen lassen sich nicht anschalten,da es ständig Probleme mit der elektronischen Verbindung gibt,obwohl sich die zuständigen Hausmeister sehr viel Mühe gaben. Ich stand 1,5 h da....
- schlechter Zugang zum Meer,schnell zu tief,man versinkt im Sand,viele Steine
-Der Pool auf dem Platz ist viel zu klein und in die Jahre gekommen
- Kleine übelst überteuerte Kaufhalle,wo man nur mit Karte zahlen kann, nach 4 Kunden ist das Gebackene schon alle ,dann wieder warten....kein Obst,kein Gemüse...
- Viel zu kleiner Kinderspielplatz
- Die Stromanschlüsse völlig falsch plaziert- mitten vor den Einfahrten der jeweiligen Plätze und so,dass der Nachbar vor dir durch die gemeinsame Hecke gehen muss,durch dein "Grundstück "um seinen Strom anzuschließen...
- Strand macht 20.00 Uhr zu.

The seaside town of Blanes (10 minutes’ drive) is overlooked by the Castell de Sant Joan, a medieval fortress on a vegetation-covered rocky hill with far-reaching views of the rugged coastline and its sheltered coves, like Cala Bona.
