Berga Resort Camping

- In the Catalan Pyrenees three kilometres from Berga
- Waterpark with pool, toys, splash zone and waterslides
- Wellness centre with thermal indoor pools, sauna and spa
To Catalonia! And to a Pyrenees placement near ski resorts, the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and a heady trio of Barcelona, Andorra and la belle France within an hour and a half's drive... pay homage to the whole heap at Berga Resort Camping.
Perhaps the most tiptop part of the resort – apart from its mighty mountainous setting – is the swish wellness centre, where the determinedly relaxed can take a dip in over 1,500m² of thermal indoor pools, steam serenely in the sauna or book a treatment at the spa. A gym is at the centre too for the determinedly fit.
Outdoors, Berga Resort has a big pool with several waterslides, set handsomely against the mountains. The outdoor pool complex has water toys, a splash zone with games, and loads of sunbathing space and sunbeds alongside; there are water-based activities for all during high season too, part of a busy entertainment programme including a kids' club.
Other modern facilities at this well-maintained site include a good-sized playground, a games room and tennis courts. An excellent range of Mediterranean dishes is at the bar-restaurant for you to munch through indoors or on the spacious terrace; the site also has a pizzeria, a mini market and takeaway.
For a full selection of restaurants, bars and shops, the city of Berga is under three kilometres away.

Local attractions
Camping Berga Resort is under 10 minutes' drive from Berga, capital of Catalonia's Berguedà region. The city is famed for its festivals as well as its red pine mushrooms: head off on a mushroom foraging hunt from here, or tuck into prepped dishes at a Berga restaurant.
Berga's also a starting point for clambers up to the shrine of Queralt, a stunning spot at the top of the Sierra de Queralt (the views here are so spectacular that the shrine is known as Catalonia's balcony). See if you can spy the Montseny and Sant Llorenç de Munt mountains from here, before a hike along the paths from the shrine, or more mushroom gathering at the Queralt restaurants.
Hikes totalling around 400 kilometres are on the marked trails of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park to Berga's north, including the GR 4 – Alp to La Pobla de Lillet and the GR 150 running alongside the park boundaries. For watery sports rather than hiking, it's about 10 minutes' drive from the site to La Baells reservoir, where you can swim, canoe and go waterskiing and wakeboarding.
