Sitting at the foot of the Sierra Alhamilla between the Tabernas Desert and coastal Cabo de Gata Natural Park, this gem of a place has an Arabic-influenced design and welcomes digital nomads, slow travellers, couples and families. Liked The campsite is situated in a stunning location in the Tabernas desert. Ben is very helpful and friendly and took the time to show us around the campsite and facilities. Ours was only a stopover but we took the opportunity to have a dip in the natural pool which was very refreshing. Unfortunately we couldn't take advantage of everything else on offer such as Yoga, Meditation, Massage and much more. A perfect place for relaxation and to soak up the atmosphere.

Liked Location, natural dip pool. Friendly staff.

Disliked Showers had nowhere to put soap/ shampoo once in and hand held shower only. Laundry area very shabby.

Regarding the showers, we have installed shelves to hold soap and shampoo. The handheld shower design is intentional, as it helps promote responsible water use in our desert environment.

We've also recently cleared the laundry area to make it more welcoming and functional for guests.

Liked Mucho, sobretodo la gente que lo llevan, es un lugar idílico, en plena naturaleza, y con muchos camaleones que me sorprendieron en más de una ocasión.
Lo que mas me ha llamado la atención es el programa de actividades de crecimiento personal, es diario, mañana y tarde, y ofrecen yoga, chikung, meditaciones varias,...a mi que me encanta poder cultivarme me encantó la propuesta.
Y por último me gustaria mencionar el trato del personal, hay una pequeña comunidad de residentes, que hacen que te sientas como en casa, el ambiente familiar y cercano, muy acogedor y amable.

If you’re looking to explore the Almería region, guided hikes and cycle rides can be organised along the 36-km Vía Verde de Lucainena, connecting the Mediterranean Sea with the arid ‘Spaghetti Western’ landscapes of the Tabernas Desert. You can relive the glory days of Western films at Mini Hollywood Oasys (half an hour’s drive), a cowboy-themed amusement park complete with movie sets and live-action shows. Down on the coast, spend time exploring the Cabo de Gata Natural Park (about an hour) with its steep cliffs and bizarre rock formations dotting the shoreline. Watch out for wading birds in the wetland lagoon, or take a swim and go kayaking off the often-deserted beach at Las Amoladeras (50 minutes).
