How might you like to wake up in the morning to a gorgeous view of a sparkling lake? Well, that’s one of the treats in store when you stay at Auto Camp Draskovic. This small family-run site in the little village of Crnodoli is right on the banks of Krupac Lake – and that means fabulous views over the water from all parts of the property. The highlight, however, is surely the restaurant, which has tables on a jetty over the water for a home-made meal with a backdrop of spectacular scenery. Your hosts, the Drašković family, are a hospitable bunch indeed – as well as producing tasty meals (mostly made with local produce), they’re also happy to make you a cup of coffee or pour you a glass of the excellent local wine. You could sit and admire those landscapes all day, but if you’ve got something more active in mind, that’s no problem – the folk here are happy to offer advice on local walking trails or help you organise activities like cycling, fishing and kayaking. Being so close to the lake also means that you can finish your day with a cool dip in the water if you like. There’s a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at this site, where families and dogs are welcome. Facilities include separate men’s and women’s toilets, a washing machine and a wifi connection (at the restaurant). You’re allowed to bring a barbecue or start up a campfire for cooking if you like; the nearby city of Niksic (15 minutes’ drive) is a good place to find supplies, and also has a good choice of places to eat out.

A peaceful, lakeside spot with friendly hosts. Clean facilities & great on-site food. Access road can be tricky for big vehicles, and WiFi is spotty. More toilets would be good.

Liked Sehr ruhig ! Nur noch mit einem Camperpaar vor Ort. Im Restaurant am Wasser haben wir alleine gesessen, was sehr angenehm war.

Liked Alles super, sanitär sauber, Quote fair , schöne Aussicht und äusserst nett. Abendessen und Frühstück top, schöne kleine Seeterasse mit tollem blick und glasklarem Badewasser

Disliked Etwas holprige Zuwegung , 1,5km über Schotterweg , mit 6m Camper noch lösbar. Der Besitzer kann dafür nix , die Kommune macht nichts für die Anwohner , daher echt mildernde Umstände

Liked Bardzo miłe i przeurocze miejsce. Kamping mały dla osób lubiących ciszę i spokój. Jezioro przepiękne. Gospodarz bardzo miły. Łazienka mała (domowa - jedno pomieszczenie z łazienką i ubikacją) co na ilość stanowisk jest wystarczające. Obok restauracja prowadzona przez gospodarza z niesamowitymi śniadaniami (jajka sadzone z dodatkami lub olbrzymi omlet za 5euro - niebo dla podniebienia), obiadami i dobrym piwem :)

Disliked Jeden minus - brak WiFi. Działa podobno w restauracji, ale to zależy od dnia i zasięgu. Nam nie udało się złapać WiFi przez nasz 5 dniowy pobyt.

Local attractions

A good activity to start with is a walk to Krupačka Dam, which is about an hour away and has a nice lakeside recreation park. There's more lovely scenery to take in at Slansko Lake (15 minutes’ drive), or with a wander through the pine trees at Park Forest Trebjesa (20 minutes). If you've got something more adventurous in mind, check out the activity providers in Niksic (15 minutes) which organise things like canyoning, rafting and mountain biking excursions. It's worth spending some time in Niksic as well – it's Montenegro’s second-largest city and has a lively reputation as it’s the home of the country’s most popular beer. That means you'll definitely have to have at least one cool beer after you’ve visited places like Bedem fortress and King Nikola's Castle. A little further away, Ostrog-Orthodox Monastery (45 minutes) is another lovely spot – this atmospheric and scenic pilgrimage site was carved into the cliff face 900 metres above the valley back in the 17th century.
