There won’t be any sour grapes with a stay at Tuscany's Montaioncino estate, a working farm and vineyard 45 minutes’ drive from Florence. Montaioncino may be a haven for agritourism, but that doesn’t mean guests will be cut off from the world: it’s five minutes from the village of Pozzale and 10 minutes from the train station in Empoli. This is wine country, so there’s no shortage of vineyards, estates and cellars within easy reach. The closest is Tenuta Forconi, a 10-minute drive from Montaioncino, but you don’t even have to leave the site to get the taste of Tuscany on your tongue: wine tastings and vineyard tours are available for guests, bringing them on the journey from vine to wine. There's also food available on site, so after your aperitif you can then settle down for dinner, looking out over the vineyard and olive groves to the mountains in the distance. And before you leave? Make sure to get yourself a souvenir: pick up some of the wine or olive oil made on site.

Liked Pitches were sufficiently large, hedges in between. Privacy was good. And THE VIEW... oh my word. A nightingale singing all day long in the background. Stunning sunsets. Kind folks with local produce for sale. Really hot showers. Fridge. Shade in the orchard if you need it.

Disliked Gents bathroom didn't lock.

Schöne Stellplätze im Grünen mit tollem Blick in die Toskana.
Duschen und Toiletten sanierungsbedüftig , aber sauber. Mit heißen Duschen.

Disliked Wanderwege nicht gefunden. Platz durch langen, sehr schwierigen Feldweg erreichbar.

Liked Camping calme, avec une superbe vue. Sanitaires bien, on a pu choisir notre emplacement.
Pas trop de moustiques.
Du vent qui était très agréable avec la chaleur

Disliked Un groupe de trois adultes étant arrivé à 22h le premier soir et qui a passé deux heures à s'installer et à manger comme si il était 19h.
Le chemin est un peu dégradé pour y accéder, heureusement qu'on avait un SUV

Liked Stellplatz sehr ruhig gelegen auf einem winzigen Weingut. Gastgeber/Personal freundlich und bemüht alles zur Zufriedenheit zu schaffen notfalls auch auf Grund gewisser Sprachbarrieren mit Händen und Füßen und Übersetzerapp.

Disliked Sanitäre Einrichtungen katastrophal, herrunter gekommen und gefühlt eklig. Anfahrtsweg aus meiner Sicht nicht so optimal für Wohnwagen, da auf Kieswege mit Unebenheiten ein Berg bewältigt werden muss. War stellenweise schwierig anzuführen wenn man wieder Löchern langsam ausweichen wollte.
