Settled on the shore of Lago di Viverone, Campeggio Internazionale del Sole is excellently appointed for travellers seeking watery sports of all sorts, with fishing, waterskiing and windsurfing available without stirring from the grounds. Also handily, this site’s location is 50 kilometres from Turin and has easy access to several major motorways, making it a splendid spot for a stopover on your way through northern Italy. Around the immediate vicinity you can play rounds of golf or tennis sets, explore the area on horseback, or wander around medieval villages to delve into the local history. The accommodation areas are a short stroll away from the park’s own private lake beach, and the site is very well set up for bods who like to boat, with access to a boathouse and a small jetty, as well as a spacious marina with a dock kitted out with a heavy-duty boat winch. Non-boaty bods will also find lots to keep them occupied during leisure days on site, including a football pitch for friendly kickabouts, ping pong tables, a beach volleyball court, and a pétanque court for times when a slower game pace is required. On summer weekends, sit back with a glass of local wine or a cold beer and be serenaded at the park’s melodic music evenings among its comfy and cosy bar. The site’s food shop will see you sorted if you're running low on supplies.

This campsite gets props for its gorgeous lakeside spot, with many enjoying the warm lake for a swim. Staff are always called friendly and helpful. Washrooms are clean but dated, with paid hot water. Mosquitoes and party noise were a few downsides.

Liked Fijne hartelijke mensen zowel gasten als personeel, je krijgt heel snel het gevoel dat je er bij hoort.
Het water van het meer is lekker warm, en heerlijk afkoelen met een koude douche.

Disliked Met zonsondergang een uur lang last van muggen. Maar op het terras hadden ze de oplossing... een grote ventilator die ze weg hield met een heerlijk verkoelend windje.

Liked Lovely site with clean facilities.

Staff/owners really friendly and accommodating.

We only stayed one night on the way home but would have happily stayed longer.

We spend the afternoon swimming on the lake which was beautiful.

Liked Il campeggio ha un clima familiare, è ordinato e pulito, ci sono più blocchi di servizi e mi sono sembrati puliti e tenuti bene. La nostra piazzola era spaziosa e con l'arco spazio di manovra.

Disliked Non offre molto per i bambini ma compensa con la tranquillità!

Liked Alle freundlich, sehr ruhig. Es gibt einen kleinen Laden, bei dem es die wichtigsten Sachen gibt. Eine Bar mit ab und zu Livemusik und super Cocktails.
Der hauseigene strand am See ist super. Das wasser ist lange flach also super für Kinder.

Disliked Die Sanitären anlagen sind sauber aber sehr einfach gehalten. Duschen sehr eng und kein Klopapier.
Es gibt keinen Spielplatz oder ähnliches.

Bon accueil, un grand plaisir même pour 2 nuits

Disliked L'eau chaude à jetons, même si en été c'est pas trop grave.
Quelques voisins très animés le soir, mais avec leur accent italien très chanteur, ça passes crème 😁
