When you’re up for a taste of la dolce vita, head for Bubble Inn Village, a peaceful hideaway in the rural region of Montefeltro. With the backdrop of the spectacular Apennines and distant glimpses of the Adriatic Sea, the property spreads over 50,000 square metres of green fields and centuries-old trees. What with mountain hikes and bike rides, sightseeing in lively Rimini or the tiny Republic of San Marino, and trips to theme parks nearby, you’re very unlikely to be short of stuff to do. Likewise, you have loads to do on site: there’s a hydrotherapy pool, a sun deck for soaking up the rays, an outdoor gym and courts for beach volleyball or bowls. Younger kids may well make new friends at the playground, while their teenage counterparts pedal along woodland trails on e-bikes hired on site. You can get together as a family for barbecues at the communal grills, share a picnic at scenic points throughout the grounds or gravitate towards the bar-restaurant, which has views towards distant peaks from its terrace. For those who prefer to go down the self-catering route, there’s an essentials shop for picking up bits and bobs as well.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite (woodland)

Liked Omar, his family and Laura take such good care of you. Very peaceful and quiet camping site between the horses and mini-horse Donald :). All facilities present (bbq area, shower, toilet, play area for kids, we even got electricity and water meters away from our pitch - super handy).
Lots of shade. Lovely pool and jacuzzi to cool off. The campsite is located in the mountains (so often a cooler breeze is present) not too far from San Marino, Rimini, and Rocca San Leo.

Liked Cadre accueil tranquillité propreté excellents

Disliked Un effort de signalisation sur la route serait le bienvenu ( on ne px pas tj compter sur le portable) un porte manteau ds les wc(sac gilet serviette) et une tablette ds la douche ( savon gel douche…) et un deuxième porte manteau une attention aussi à porter sur la fermeture porte wc femme et à l’évacuation des douches (débordant ds la pièce )

Liked Family-run campsite with a relaxed atmosphere and stunning views towards San Marino and the Adriatic. Super friendly hosts, very clean facilities. There’s a pool, outdoor gym, a few horses, and a cozy restaurant with the same great view. I can’t stress enough the tranquility of the place — it’s incredibly peaceful. Also, the pizza and fresh sardines at the restaurant were seriously impressive. Quiet at night, good spot to unwind.

So you’re heading for the seaside? As well as a beach of golden sand backed by seafront restaurants, the smart enclave of Rimini (55 minutes’ drive) has much to offer, including a photogenic Old Town, an ancient Roman bridge, medieval fortress and the handsome Renaissance-era Tempio Malatestiano. Historic San Marino (35 minutes) also warrants a day’s exploration. It’s crowned by three UNESCO-listed towers, so climb up to their ramparts or head for the Contrada del Pianello viewing deck for spectacular views over the Apennine Mountains to the Adriatic coast. And it’s not all about the sightseeing; this micro-country is known for its tax-free shopping and you can sample local piadinas (stuffed flatbreads) in its trattorias too. Kids a bit resistant to culture? Treat them to treetop rope courses at Carpegna Park - Family Adventure Mountain (20 minutes), or a dinosaur walk and archery sessions at San Marino Adventures (half an hour). You could also take them trekking in the Sasso Simone e Simoncello Regional Natural Park (25 minutes), or on the alpine pastures above Eremo di Monti Carpegna ski resort (15 minutes).
