What a top-notch location is this. For not only is Piomboni Camping Village totally surrounded by a maritime pine forest, it's also only a short stroll from a white sandy beach – and an easy amble to a dog-friendly one where you can release the hounds. And! Cultural connoisseurs are sorted too, for the site is handily placed a mere eight kilometres from the Byzantine treasures and medieval past of the spectacular old city of Ravenna. Plenty of services and facilities are sorted on site, such as a bar-restaurant with takeaway, a mini market, ping pong tables, a playground, a pétanque court, bike hire and a shop selling daily essentials. The park also has a motorhome service point, laundry room, washing-up areas and free hot showers in modern facilities blocks also suitable for disabled guests. Activities and entertainment such as live music, theme evenings, kids' club and archery is organised by the team from mid-June to the end of August.

Generalmente chi viene con il cane non ha più di 2 cani al seguito. Siamo d'accordo a non accettare troppi cani per piazzola, e ancora più d'accordo sul fatto che il proprietario se ne occupi totalmente e non arrecando disturbo agli altri lasciandolo in piazzola incustodito anche per il bene del cane stesso.
Speriamo di poterla ospitare per farla ricredere su questo.

Nice children’s pool – only 85 cm deep. The slide is for kids under 10 only

Disliked Some pitches and access roads are narrow and quite bumpy in places, requiring the driver’s full attention.

The sanitary facilities are a bit dated

Liked Sehr freundliche und kompetente Mitarbeiter in allen Bereichen; Verkehrsverbindungen mit Rad oder Bus sehr gut; Sanitäranlagen werden regelmäßig gereinigt und sind entsprechend sauber; Stellplätze gut abgeschaltet und gekennzeichnet; Strand in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.

Disliked Stellplätze, zumindest Standard, sehr eng und nicht zu Nachbarplätzen abgegrenzt; Wohnmobile und Zeltplätze werden wahllos gemischt; Plätze direkt neben, bis spät in die Nacht, stark befahrener Straße, ohne irgendwelche Lärmschutzmaßnahmen.

There's loads to do in the area around Piomboni Camping Village, whether you want to stick around the dog-friendly and family-friendly beaches and the seafood restaurants, bars, shops and clubs of Marina di Ravenna, or have cultural days out on old city sightseeing trips. Utterly fab Ravenna is eight kilometres away by car, bike or bus: this was once the capital of the Byzantine empire and so is crammed with ancient churches, palaces and piazzas as well as many museums. And it's not all ancient these days, as plenty of restaurants, shops and bars are in town too. A little further afield are Bologna, San Marino and Ferrara, as well as the Parco Regionale Delta del Po/Po Delta Regional Park. For kid-friendly days out, the highly amusing amusement park of Mirabilandia is about 15 kilometres away.
