Fancy traditional camping on pitches or in accommodation? Camping La Clairière offers the best of camping and welcomes you for a refreshing and restful stay in a calm, wooded and flowery 12-hectare park.
It is located in the heart of a pine forest with one- and two-hundred year old oak trees. The site is just two and a half kilometres from the beach (with biking trails from the campsite to the beach and forest) and one and half kilometres from the market.
At the centre of La Clairiere, in its pretty setting, are two heated swimming pools, a paddling pool and a 55m-waterslide. Premium large electric grass pitches come with a private shower/WC cabin and personal fridge.
Our camping site also now offers bike rental and mini golf.

Route directions
Coming from La Rochelle, follow the directions towards Rochefort, then go towards Marennes: go past the Seudre bridge and once at the roundabout, go straight following the signs towards the La Palmyre Zoo and take the first right turn.
Coming from Saintes head towards Saujon and do not enter La Tremblade but follow the directions for the island of Oléron on the D25, cross the first roundabout and turn left at the second intersection.

With ocean-based activities and gastronomic discoveries as well as cultural, the region offers much to interest its summer visitors.
Have fun by walking or cycling from La Clairière through the marvellous forest. Our campsite is ideally positioned for getting out and about around the naturally beautiful Atlantic Riviera and the biggest pine forest on the coast, La Forêt de la Coubre.
Nearby are Ronce les Bains (with more than 25 kilometers of beautiful beaches) and Fort Boyard. La Palmyre with its famous zoo is just 10 minutes away. Take golf lessons with club hire available, visit the racecourse at la Palmyre or the famous marine aquarium at La Rochelle, or sample traditional French Cognac at Pineau des Charentes cellars.
