What customers say
Peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff & lovely pool noted, with great cycling & vineyard views. However, some guests found grounds neglected, facilities unhygienic, and amenities closed. Misrepresentation and lack of staff led to early departures for some.

Liked Nothing, apart from the helpful lady who assisted me with the wi-fi
Disliked Everything, it was just a field that needed mowing, the toilets were disgusting as was the reception area & nothing like the pictures on the website, extremely pleased we were self sufficient.
The reviews were obviously a complete lie as to the actual standard, would not recommend. The only saving grace were thr surrounding vineyards

From the manager: Hello!
I respectfully disagree with this review. If the individual encountered any issues or were dissatisfied with their experience, I would have appreciated the opportunity to address their concerns directly. I would have been more than willing to make immediate arrangements to enhance their stay or issue a refund.
We encountered a problem with the tractor, resulting in some grass areas being longer than usual. However, we provided access to two sanitary facilities, and I suggested utilizing the one near the pool area, as we were closing the other due to low occupancy. The guest indicated they did not require its use, as they had their own facilities.
The reviews from my previous clients were genuine and accurately reflected their experiences, as they stayed for more than one night and were able to fully assess the site. Therefore, I find it disheartening that a single negative comment, stemming from a brief stay, could overshadow the considerable efforts we have made over the whole season.

Good stopover site. Would use again.
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Friendly proprietor and hot water!
We used this campsite for one night only in November as a stopover through France. The owner was lovely and accommodating, spoke excellent English and made us very welcome on a dark evening. Wish we could have spent longer there and in daylight as it appeared to be in vineyard territory and it could have been splendid.

Extremely poor
Powered grass and earth campsite
Liked Roomy, and Quiet. Flat pitches
Disliked The booking was made after searching several places, on the grounds that the pool, bar and restaurant where open.
Everything was shut!
The 1 shower was broken and unuseable.
Out of 5 toilets only one was open for use with a broken door lock.
We were extremely disappointed on our first ever holiday in a motorhome and first holiday for many years.
The owners should be ashamed to have such a disappointing business.
