Quiet, shady, combining a countryside setting with beach convenience… and with un bon amount of services and facilities right on site: Camping Ma Prairie in the Pyrenees-Orientales sounds pretty bon to us at Pitchup.com.
The Med-meets-mountains coast of this part of France is only three kilometres from Ma Prairie too, but we reckon you'll feel the Med vibe right on site at the new heated pool, paddling pool and waterslide – and all surrounded by a solarium with sun loungers and beach umbrellas.
Between the pool area and the playground is the Bodega, serving quick bites including cheese boards (cheese boards!) and Serrano ham along with other tapas, tasty tasty wines and cool cool cocktails.
Feeling fit? Active guests from teen years up can work out in the fitness room or make for the sports court or pétanque court. Feeling frazzled? Regular entertainment and activities are arranged for kids in high season.
Camping Ma Prairie is just at the entrance of Canet-en-Roussillon, where the hungry and thirsty will find restaurants and cafés in its old village and along its seafront.
