A popular, family-friendly park near the Pyrénées-Orientales foothills, Camping La Sirene is the kind of place that should keep even the liveliest of families entertained. It’s five minutes’ drive from the town centre in Argelès-sur-Mer, and 20 minutes’ walk from its long sandy beach. Once you’re here, you can abandon the car for much of your stay – there’s plenty within walking distance including shops, cafés and watersports centres, and the rollercoasters at Luna Park are a 15-minute stroll away. If you’d like to explore the area, hire bikes to pedal around locally, or jump into the car to reach the likes of Perpignan and Collioure within 20 minutes. Back at base, daily life centres on the tropical pool complex, with waterslides, a whirlpool and waterfalls to play around in. Keep toddlers amused at the playground, while older kids can wear themselves out with any number of sporting activities – archery, miniature golf, tennis, pétanque, basketball and volleyball are all on hand. There’s a gym and games room on site too – and you’ll have free access to the sister site just over the road. The action doesn’t stop at dusk, either – evenings here will be filled with live music, dancing and shows at the open-air bar. You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to eating too: source snacks and supplies at the handy shop to barbecue on your terrace, dine in the restaurant or pick up takeaway meals. A bakery is also on site for fresh bread in the mornings.

Although you’ll find plenty to do at the site, you can entice the kids away from the waterpark with rides on the coasters and thrill rides at Luna Park (15 minutes’ walk). There’s extreme cliff jumping and ziplines for older kids at Canyoning Park (15 minutes’ drive), and all sorts of gentler water-based activities right off Plage des Pins beach (a 20-minute stroll). Sticking to outdoor activity, there’s some great hiking in the Pyrénées-Orientales foothills, with the chance to stop off at hilltop medieval towers for views from the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea. You’ll need walking boots and a head for heights to follow the Sentier Littoral walking path (20 minutes) along mighty sea cliffs. For something less energetic, Collioure and Perpignan (both 20 minutes) are two historic towns that area well worth a visit for their medieval palaces, art museums and lively restaurant scenes.

La bungalow súper equipada con cosas, que en otras no hay como tostadora y barbacoa sin pago adicional.
Además de disfrutar de sus piscinas y parque acuático, pudimos hacer muchas actividades, en familia y por separado, siempre pasándolo bien.
Además en este camping todo está muy bien organizado lo que garantiza la calidad y la buena atención, incluidos unos espectáculos y musicales preciosos, adicional, el personal súper amable
