Liked Shower facilities and toilets very clean. Located next to the canal which was a lovely walk
Disliked Electric point was a couple of pitches over and the people next to us had tents covering the whole of their pitch which meant we couldn’t access the electric point. Don’t realise the toilets don’t have toilet paper which is not a deal breaker we just weren’t used to it.

Liked Nice quiet site well kept, clean facilities. Small town within walking distance. Supermarket 20min walk away nice walk along the canal. Nice pool
Disliked Limited things to do when staying in a motorhome with no bikes/car. Town small and not much open so limited places to eat if you wanted to go out. Shared toilet/shower facilities and need your own loo roll! WiFi only works if u sit outside reception

Great stop over

Liked Good location. There was a swimming pool although we did not use it. The pitch was a bit small and uneven in the orchard, but they were accommodating and gave us an extension lead for the electric. The little village was lovely but need to book in order to eat in the restaurants.

Liked The pitches were a good size and the facilities provided were very good. Great location within easy walking distance of a nice village. Friendly staff and nice and peaceful.
Disliked The surface around the swimming pool was uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet. It also could have had more relaxers/deck chairs available, for the size of the site.
I would also like to comment on the water in the shower block. As the hot water in the sinks, very quickly became far too hot. Whereas in the showers it was a bit" hit and miss" as to whether the water was warm. Also not really enough showers for the size of the site.

From the manager: We had a tornado at the campsite, trees were down, and the pool was full of branches. Luckily, no one was injured. We had no electricity for two days. We worked from 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. during those two days to get the campsite back in order. So yes, I didn't have time to send emails to warn people about the pool being closed during those two days.... A little understanding would be appreciated....
Nice stop for a few days

Liked Lovely location near a beautiful village. Although pitches were close to each other there was space. Nice welcome and a little cafe
Disliked The toilets and showers were intermixed which meant the floor was rather wet
