- Community-based site 10 minutes’ drive from Mørke in Djursland
- Rosenholm Castle 10 minutes’ drive and Djurs Sommerland 20 minutes
- Firepits, communal kitchens and a play area; workshops and activities
If you’re looking for a traditional campsite, Mucuna isn’t for you. At 10 minutes’ drive from Mørke in Djursland, this is a community-based space where travellers, vanlifers and nature lovers can slow down, reconnect and enjoy simple living surrounded by flowers, herbs and open skies.
The site has a chilled, friendly vibe, and families are especially welcome as kids can run around in the playground, jump on trampolines and find nature-based adventures for themselves around the site. Dogs are permitted too, but please keep them under control and be respectful of other guests and wildlife.
Guests have access to a toilet trailer with a shower, a community house with a shared kitchen – there’s an outdoor one too for sunny days – and secret corners in the garden for quiet contemplation as well as campfires.
Mucuna is host to creative workshops, natural medicine projects, outdoor gatherings and a growing tiny-house community. Depending on the schedules, you can join in any of the community activities or just put your feet up and enjoy the East Jutland countryside.
