Disliked Das Sanitär im Berg ist in die Jahre gekommen und muß renoviert werden
Das Sanitär unten bei denn Wohnmobilstellplätzen ist einfach aber in Ordnung
Plätze oben auf dem Berg am besten nur mit Geländewagen oder kleinem Wohnmobil
Tief hängend Äste auf der Zufahrt.

Liked Peaceful location, beautiful countryside. Good stop over through Belgium on our way to Calais. Pitches nicely laid out, spacious, friendly staff. Basic facilities.

Disliked No soap, bring your own. The showers were okay. There was an abandoned toilet brush next to the drinking water tap.

yes, no soap because it will be immediatly stolen , idem for the toilet rol ... please, take your own
I saw what you call a toilet brush this morning and I took that directly away ...it was in fact a brush for washing dishes...not for cleaning toilets (ouf!)

Liked Friendly family run campsite. Lovely bar and Friterie on site. Fantastic views, peaceful beautiful part of the world. On site fridge and cooker very handy. Good WiFi.

Disliked Needs a bit of tidying, updating here and there and don't forget to take your own toilet roll. Small issues really.

Liked Mycket bra, rent och fräscht

Liked Schöne große Parzellen, gute Organisation, sauber und alles vorhanden, was man sich wünscht. tolle Aussicht und wunderbare Landschaft.
Besser geht nicht! Man sieht, die Betreiber geben sich sehr viel Mühe.

Liked Will organised camp site clean and tidy nice little bar with food will pass on to friends coming this way.

Liked Location was beautiful and it was easy to walk to the nearest town.

Disliked Despite saying that everything would be open e.g. restaurant, sauna and Hot Tub, they were all closed for our stay. Don’t advertise these things as being available when they clearly aren’t. We were told the restaurant wasn’t open because it was “too quiet” which to me is not really an excuse if you are advertising as having a restaurant on site. We were also told that theres “plenty of takeaway options online” we had a look as there was no restaurant and there was in fact 2 options, 1 of which was also closed for our duration, the other had a minimum spend of €15 for delivery.

The toilets and showers were okay, but were not all that clean. The showers were way too hot as well with no way of adjusting the temperature, so you could not wash hair, shave etc in them.

We were also disturbed by a very rude gentleman at around 8 or 9pm who banged on our vehicle. Only to ask us if we had checked in. Had he actually checked, rather than arrogantly banging on our van, he would have seen we were checked in the day before.

thank you for your comment but it needs to be interpretated as well :
you arrived a Sunday evening ; the bar / friterie were open during the weekend , always in the evening but not on Sunday evening , why ? because everybody (most of the customers) is going home ...we can not open for 5 people...! therefore , we propose a lot of alternatives , with takeaway.com , pizzeria el Piccolino (5 km , come on the campsite delivery) , Friterie Spontin (open on Sunday evening , 1 mile down , a nice walking ...) , restaurant 'le Cheval Blanc' in Spontin , open from Wensday till Sunday evening ...etc.. etc... simply writing min spend 15 € for delivery , I find it is normal , a pizza costs nearly 15 € , 2 for 30 € , etc... you were 2 pers , I remembered of you ; I do not think I were the rude gentleman you described , but as you have seen , the entrance/exit of the campsite is very "free" and we need to check (me or my collaborators) if the persons already came for the check in at the reception .. and paid ... because they are people who likes to "filer a l'anglaise" without paying ... !

Liked Nice view, good facilities (open 24/7) and friendly, helpful staff. Good Wi-Fi signal. With a short walk to the closest village for some nice Belgian beer 😎.

Liked Onsite food very tasty service a little slow.

Disliked Needs more facilities

From the manager: thank you for your comment ; I said to everybody this weekend was very,very busy - Ascension - with a lot of people ; it is the biggest weekend of the year ! so , slow service ... needs somebody else for help ... ok, but who pays ??? only for one weekend a year ...
today nobody , you gets all the service you want , only for you ...! come back ...
