The clue as to the location of this Carinthia site is very much in the name here – Vakantiepark Wörthersee is about 500 metres from the shore of the gorgeous Wörthersee, with views out over the bright blue waters from various spots around the park. Not content with looking from afar? That's understandable – and easily fixable, as the park has its own access to the lake, for swims, launching your canoes or just sunbathing on the jetty. There may be mountain scenery all around but the waters here are usually pleasantly warm in summer – the sunny location means they warm up to a temperature of around 25 degrees in high season. Elsewhere around the lake, there are places to hire watersports kit, go for walks by the water or up into the mountains and some viewing platforms where you’ll get impressive views in reward for your climb. The location is also a handy one for visits to Villach and Klagenfurt (both within a half-hour drive), with your nearest town being Schiefling am See, a handy five minutes away and home to several shops, restaurants and services like banks. You don't have to head out to eat, though – there’s a restaurant on site serving up good breakfasts and traditional Carinthian dinners (alongside a vegetarian and vegan menu to cater for all guests). There’s fresh bread for sale every morning at the store, along with a sandwich service (order a day ahead and they’ll be ready for you to pick up from reception and take out for your picnics/hikes).

Liked 🌟 Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt am Wörthersee – Natur, Komfort und Entspannung pur! 🌟

Unser Aufenthalt am EuroParcs Wörthersee war einfach fantastisch. Der Campingplatz liegt inmitten einer idyllischen Landschaft und bietet alles, was das Camperherz begehrt – aber das absolute Highlight war der campingeigene Strand direkt am Wörthersee.

🏖️ Privater Zugang zum See Der gepflegte Strandbereich ist ein echtes Juwel: ruhig, sauber und mit direktem Blick auf das glasklare Wasser des Wörthersees. Morgens ein Sprung ins kühle Nass, abends ein Glas Wein mit Sonnenuntergang – besser geht’s nicht.

🚐 Stellplätze & Ausstattung Die Stellplätze sind großzügig und eben, mit Stromanschluss und viel Grün drumherum. Die sanitären Anlagen waren stets sauber und modern.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Für Familien und Paare gleichermaßen geeignet Ob mit Kindern oder zu zweit – hier findet jeder seinen Lieblingsplatz. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

💰 Preis-Leistung top Für die Lage und die Ausstattung ist der Preis absolut gerechtfertigt. Besonders der exklusive Seezugang macht den Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

📌 Fazit: Ein Ort zum Abschalten, Auftanken und Genießen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – allein schon wegen des traumhaften Strandes!

Disliked Ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt mit kleinen Abstrichen

Unser Aufenthalt am Wörthersee war insgesamt sehr angenehm – besonders der eigene Strandzugang direkt vom Campingplatz aus ist ein echtes Highlight und sorgt für unvergessliche Momente am Wasser. Die Lage, die Ruhe und die gepflegte Anlage haben uns sehr gefallen.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war jedoch, dass eines der Waschhäuser während unseres Aufenthalts geschlossen war. Das verbliebene Gebäude war zwar sauber und gut ausgestattet, lag aber etwas weiter entfernt von unserem Stellplatz, was den Komfort ein wenig eingeschränkt hat.

Trotzdem überwiegen die positiven Eindrücke, und wir würden den Platz definitiv weiterempfehlen – mit dem Wunsch, dass bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder alle Einrichtungen geöffnet sind.

Dobrej jakości i czyste toalety i prysznice.
Gorąca woda w prysznicu ( to kocha moja żona )

Disliked Byliśmy tam za krótko żeby zauważyć mankamenty ;-)
Mogła by być otwarta dłużej recepcja, bo po całodniowej jeździe nie zdążyliśmy przed 18. Nie był to jednak problem. Umyliśmy się i poszliśmy spać a formalności załatwiłem rano.

Disliked Allleen een tip: check in, laat je camper staan op de parkeerplaats en ga eerst je plek bekijken en hoe je er komt.Weinig ruimte om te keren.

Local attractions

There are lots of spots around the lake where you can get great views – but one of the best is surely that from the top of Pyramidenkogel, the world’s tallest wooden observation tower at 100 metres high. You can walk there in a couple of hours from the park, or drive in about 15 minutes. After you’ve soaked up the views from the top, come back down to earth on the 120-metre slide. Other spots to visit around the lake include the medieval Hochosterwitz Castle (40 minutes’ drive) and Landskron Castle (25 minutes), which has bird of prey shows and a troop of monkeys to meet. As for urban days out, you may like to take a wander through the colourful streets of Villach (20 minutes) or head over to Klagenfurt (half an hour), which has a reptile zoo, a planetarium and the excellent Minimundus attraction as well as historic castles, churches and courtyards to wander through.
