  • Pembrokeshire campsite in a rural location with farmland views
  • Adjacent to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path; Broad Haven three miles
  • Three quarters of a mile from the village of Nolton Haven
Nolton Coast is a secluded site in Pembrokeshire with direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. This four-acre field has plenty of space for everyone and allows guests to arrive early and take in the vistas over the farmland before taking the private track to the small beach at Druidston Haven, a secluded spot only accessible on foot. After spending time on this mile-long stretch of sand (where there are rockpools to explore at low tide), head back to base. The site is a two-minute drive from their very own clifftop drive-in cinema, which displays a range of films on a giant LED screen (it runs through the summer holidays on Tuesday and Thursday evenings). Bringing your dog? Nolton Coast has their own secure dog walking field just over three miles from the site. The field is designed for people with reactive or sensitive dogs who want to have safe, sole-use, off-lead playtime. The rural site is about three quarters of a mile south of Nolton Haven, where there is a café and car park. If you need supermarkets, it’s about a quarter of an hour’s drive from Haverfordwest, while more beaches can be found around Broad Haven and Little Haven (three to four miles away).

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Mostly flat. Freedom to choose own pitch area.

Very quiet, not many others onsite (during peak season).

3 toilets & showers; clean and to a high standard. Showers had consistently hot water and good water pressure.

Walking, take the path through the cornfield to next to the site to safely access the beach with only having to cross one road.

Didn’t meet/ see any staff but enjoyed the chilled/ trust vibe.

Disliked: Directions unclear, hard to find especially with poor phone coverage in the area.

No rubbish disposal, not a huge problem but something to consider for larger groups.

Mostly had to drive to access pub/ shop/ etc.

Primitive grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Clean washing facilities, proximity to Druidstone beach and the coastal path, the friendliness of the hosts. I also liked being the only one there but think this may be a one-off!

Disliked: The shower requires a lot of button pushing to keep going. I appreciate this is a water saving feature but wonder if the hosts have actually tried it..

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: Nice and quiet, clean, lovely area.

Disliked: Not really negatives, but most of the showers / bathrooms are only suitable for small people, as a tall / larger person you can only really use the shower + toilet combo booth so that's worth keeping in mind. Also, I couldn't see a board/poster etc with basic information about the facilities, what are site rules, where's the closest pub and what attractions are nearby, you have to work that out for yourself.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked: Quiet flat field away from large caravan parks, large hedge to shelter the tent on windy days, great facilities and a very friendly helpful and creative owner. A 15min walk from one of the most beautiful sandy beaches with rockpools and caves to explore.
