What customers say
Great spot across from a beautiful beach! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and well-kept, with a pizza van and pub on site. Some found it a bit busy with occasional road noise and pricey showers/pizza, but overall it's a well-loved spot for its vibe and seaside access.

Excellent site and highly recommend
Primitive grass campsite (no pets)
Liked The campsite was clean and well located with the beach literally across the road. The staff at reception and at the bar were friendly and helpful. The facilities were great and staff were always in cleaning end ensuring that they were resourced. One of the things that stood out for me was the level of security and control, in the evenings, staff patrolled to ensure that everyone was safe and happy.

Liked 🌊 Newgale Campsite Review
Just returned from a brilliant two-day stay at Newgale Campsite and I’m already planning my next visit. The location is absolutely stunning—right across from the beach with breathtaking sunsets and sea views. Despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend, the site was impressively well spaced out, offering a peaceful and relaxed vibe.
The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help, making the whole experience feel welcoming from the start. Facilities were spotless throughout my stay, which really added to the comfort. Exceptional value for money.
Highly recommend this absolute gem of a campsite. Whether you’re into surfing, relaxing by the sea, or just want a clean, friendly base to explore Pembrokeshire—Newgale ticks all the boxes. 🏕️✨
Disliked Everything was perfect! 👌

Staff friendly when we booked in!
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Excellent access to a lovely beach that allows dogs either end.
Pizza van on site is useful when not wanting to cook every night.
Shop/cafe - chips, chicken nuggets, bacon rolls, pints, hot drinks, cold drinks, bakery, milk, eggs, bacon etc
Showers and toilets are clean - the small charge is a good idea as there are 4 showers and kept queuing time short.
Disliked We are relatively new to camping and so far have been to quiet camp sites with more room around the campervan so it took us a little time to adjust to how busy it was - but as we spent all the time on the beach not really an issue!

From the manager: Hi Carys,
Thank you for your review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the beach, facilities, and food options on site. The coin-operated showers help keep queues short, especially on busier days. During school holidays the campsite does get a lot busier but it’s great to hear you were still able to make the most of the beach and enjoy your stay.
Thanks and all the best,
Charlotte, Team Newgale

Excellent site. Staff do an amazing job here.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Site clean and tidy, staff do a fantastic job maintaining facilities. Location brilliant as directly opposite the beach and on Welsh coastal path. Very family friendly. Cafe/bar offers good menu with quality products and also well thought in offering bread/eggs/milk for those who don't want to leave site
Disliked Made me nervous there's no barrier between the campsite and main road with the amount of stones in the road especially at night with traffic exceeding speed limits
