  • Peaceful dog-friendly getaway in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park
  • A 15-minute drive from Tenby, Manorbier beach and Saundersfoot beach
  • Two pubs within walking distance and barbecues permitted on site
Escape to Pembrokeshire, where sandy coves, castles and family-friendly theme parks lie in waiting… when you put down roots at The Three Oaks in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, you’ll be one step closer to surfing sessions, moor walks and more adventurous days out. This peaceful getaway feels rather remote, being surrounded by the woodlands and moors, but it’s far from cut off. Tasty meals can be tracked down in two gorgeous pubs 25 minutes’ walk away or there’s another pub along the estuary, just 10 minutes’ drive away… Of course, there’s a lot more action, including pubs, fish and chips kiosks and heaps of seaside attractions, in Tenby, which is only 15 minutes’ drive to the southwest… for more coves, get your surfing mode on at Manorbier beach (15 minutes) or dabble in some canoeing, sailing, windsurfing or sea fishing at Saundersfoot beach (15 minutes). With all the scenery on site and permission to see off the day with a barbecue, relaxing is easy at The Three Oaks. Dogs can join you here, good news for those of you with a canine family member, but no matter who you have with you, the well-maintained facilities (which include a shower, toilets and wifi) will always come in handy.

Liked: Everything you need for a family camping trip, handy base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Owner Selwyn couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating! Lovely to have horses on site, can't wait to see how this site develops in years to come. Hot showers, free reliable Wifi. We had a really lovely stay - thank you!

Disliked: Bathrooms could benefit from a bit of de-cobwebbing 😁

Liked: Ease of check in, very quiet at night. 2 dog friendly pubs within 20 min walk and also Carew Castle and Creswell Quay are must visits. Selwyn is a very friendly and welcoming owner who clearly enjoys what he does. Does his best to keep the facilities clean and running nicely unfortunately you can't help some guests making that job a lot harder but nothing was too much trouble for him. Had no issue running an extra hook up cable so we could pitch a little further away. The addition of the ponies who came to say hello every so often was an unexpected pleasance. Would recommend staying here for a quiet getaway with an excellent base to explore Pembrokeshire (Stackpole, GreenBridge, Freshwater West all within 20 mins drive) Thanks Selwyn and all the best.

Disliked: Toilets could be cleaner and make sure enough toilet roll out as often toilet roll had been finished. So we had our own tissues just incase.

Liked: Nice place with good access, lots of space and a friendly host!

Disliked: The showers and toilets used to block quite often. Wifi was very unstable.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our campsite. The blockage was identified in the afternoon, the culprit was a large amount of wet wipes that had been disposed of earlier - this was flushed through and fault rectified within the hour. The WiFi issue was cause by the National Grid shutting the power off for the whole day for our (new transforming, impacting Cresselly, Carew, Redberth, Milton and Sageston postcodes). This impacted upon the WiFi quality which was restored by 7pm with speed returned. Unfortunately, we could not control these issues, only respond in the best way possible. Kind regards, The Three Oaks

Liked: Lovely little site. Owner was very welcoming and friendly. As we didn't need the electric hook-up he gave us the freedom the pitch where ever we wanted. Loved the badminton nets and basketball hoop for the kids. Clean showers and toilets. Nice dishwashing area. Owner was seen to be laying gravel at entrances to fields even though ground wasn't boggy. Nice location, close to Cresswell Quay which is pretty and has a lovley pub. Only 10 mins into Tenby and less to attractions such as Heatherton makinv it a good base. Will definitely stay here again.
