  • Award-winning holiday park between Tenby and Saundersfoot
  • A 15-minute walk from the closest beach and easy access to many others
  • Spotless amenities, plus playground, sandpit and gardens with pond
When a business has been running for well over 50 years, you’d imagine they’d know a thing or two about how to keep customers happy. So it is with award-winning Well Park, which has been welcoming guests since 1960 – and with a loyal crowd of visitors returning year after year, they're clearly doing something right. So what’s the secret? There's the setting for starters, a peaceful rural site around half an hour’s walk from the seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot. Then there's the fact that it’s only a 15-minute walk to a quiet little cove… and that the site amenities are spotless… and well-kept gardens with rockeries, manicured lawns and an ornamental fish pond are at guests' disposal on site… A playground and sandpit have been installed too to keep smaller visitors amused. Two pubs are a few minutes’ walk away, and plenty of restaurants are in Saundersfoot and Tenby. If you need to pick up eats and drinks for back on site, there are supermarkets in both towns and a mini market a five-minute walk from the park. An overflow field is used for tents at busy times.

What customers say

Well Park gets rave reviews for its prime location near Tenby & Saundersfoot, with a Morrisons close by. Staff are super friendly & helpful, facilities are clean & well-kept (hot showers a big plus!). It's a peaceful spot with plenty of room. Minor gripes about dated bits & Wi-Fi, but most folks loved it and want to come back.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Lovely campsite, visited many years ago and wanted to bring my toddler. Nothing to complain about, clean and everything is organised well! The welcome from reception was excellent. The play park was a number one hit for my toddler. The whole family enjoyed watching the little bunnies early each morning too.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked The area was nice, there were plenty of toilet and shower cubicles. It was in a great location, close to Tenby town.

Disliked How far away the tent pitch was from the facilities. When I booked, it said that it was no possible for more than. Two groups to have a pitch together. When we arrived, there were four families who had set up camp. They played loud music and we noisy well beyond curfew, which was not ideal with small children. The park owner drove past so they knew about this and did nothing.

From the manager: sorry about the noise if you had told me i would have dealt with it thanks david

Primitive grass campsite

Liked The option of spaces for us to pitch on. Surrounding area around the pitch was lovely.

Disliked Groups of people in other tents playing loud music till very late.
There was no individual sanitary bins in the toilets so you had to use the main bin outside the cubicles.

Local attractions

Sometimes it feels like you can barely move in this part of Wales without stumbling upon a castle – good news for history buffs or kids imagining themselves as knights. Within 20 minutes’ drive of the park you can hear ghost stories at Carew Castle, gaze out over the sea from one of the towers at Manorbier or run around the Great Map of Wales (said to be Britain’s largest artwork) at Pembroke. Another thing that’s not in short supply round these parts is beaches: a 15-minute walk down a quiet path takes you to Waterwynch Bay, a hidden cove that’s off the radar for many visitors to the area. An hour’s walk away (along the splendid Pembrokeshire Coast Path) is sandy Monkstone beach, and a little further away but oh so worth the half-hour drive is gorgeous Barafundle Bay, a frequent entrant on global best beaches lists (and rightly so). For family-friendly attractions, Folly Farm is 15 minutes’ drive away, and the adrenaline-heavy rides at Oakwood Theme Park 20 minutes away.
