Should you wish, you’ll never be short of something to do when you stay at South View Glamping, a tiny site on a family-run smallholding where you can of course relax in rural peace and quiet. Or not… for this place is just 10 minutes’ drive from the shops and restaurants of Pembroke in West Wales, near three theme parks, multiple sandy beaches and two spectacular national parks, so it would be a shame to miss out on discovering the beauty of Pembrokeshire completely. Take a boat trip to explore the islands and wildlife of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park (20 minutes), grab hiking boots and head for the hiking trails of Bannau Brycheiniog (an hour) or discover the medieval secrets of Pembroke Castle (10 minutes). Of course, if all you want to do is chill, you can enjoy stress-free days pottering around on site, or play ball games with the kids on the field and freshen up afterwards under the copious hot water of the outdoor shower. Alternatively, you might care to hang out in the woodfired hot tub before cooking up a storm in the outdoor kitchen and dining alfresco under a starry sky.
