Liked It was a lovely setting - we were in an area on our own right the lake where you can watch the sunset it was incredibly peaceful. It has 3 x portaloo toilets which is handy .. nothing bad to say really!

Lovely, peaceful site.
Primitive grass and gravel tent campsite
Liked This site is so peaceful and relaxing. Adults only means that it is quiet and tranquil all day.
The view over the lake is truly beautiful and the ideal spot for me to use my SUP.
We saw 6 species of birds in the first hour we were there.
The static caravan on site provides a clean toilet and shower facility, with kitchen equipment if required.

Basic site with beautiful scenery
Primitive grass and gravel tent campsite
Liked Beautiful scenery, loads of wildlife and a very peaceful stay. We were the only ones on site making it a wonderful personal experience. Toilet facilities are much better than the standard port-a-loo type and clean. We used the static caravan on-site to wash our dishes but could’ve used it more often if we needed to. Field was secure allowing our dog to roam safely. Within walking distance from pub and shop but wouldn’t recommend this as it is a dangerous road to walk on.
35 minute drive from new quay which was our chosen day trip spots. Beautiful location.

Nice scenery, very poor/no facilities.
Primitive grass and gravel tent campsite
Liked Ground was flat and even though it was raining the ground stayed firm for the pegs to stay in. Lovely scenery with the lake, owners friendly and kind enough to get the tractor to help us get our car out of the mud as we were stuck. They also took the time to advise us of local shops and takeaways they recommend.
Disliked Online states there is a shower available, toilet block and washing up area. This was not what we expected at all. The shower and washing up area were in an old style static caravan. The shower did not work, and there was no water for the sink to work at the washing up area for us to do the dishes. It did have electric so we boiled the kettle to wash our dishes. (The owners did eventually notify us of the shower and water not working and offered for us to use the shower and sink in the house, we declined as felt rude to use their house when the facilities should have been working as it was the first weekend they were open). There were 3 portaloo like toilets side by side, they hardly flushed and the toilet seats were very high up ( I am 5ft6 and I could not touch the floor when sat). There were sinks in with each toilet which had peddles on the floor to press for water to wash hands. 2 out of the 3 sinks did not work and one just shot black gunk out. The soap dispenser in the middle toilet was also broken. They could have also added hooks on the doors to hang coats/umbrellas. The toilets were also located outside the owners house (like their drive way). We went to the toilet at 8:45pm and felt we should not have gone as everything was pitch black, lucky we had torches to find our way. We were meant to stay 3 nights but due to poor facilities, we left a day early.
