Primitive grass tent campsite (solo, no pets)
Liked Honestly I liked everything about this site. Booked at short notice for one night, the wardens / owners were quick to reply to my request for a late check-in, super friendly without being intrusive and very welcoming.
Site was green, lots of private tucked away bays and others that could be modified for larger groups with windbreaks etc.
Lots of laughter and relaxing holiday makers in the early evening but all super quiet by 10 (it was actually a welcome sound while on my own to hear some happy chatter!)
Kids play area looked brilliant, loo block was clean, tidy and well maintained. Hot showers with several hooks for clothes and a thoughtful little plastic stool.
Although busy as peak time, its a quiet site, well thought out pitches, clean tidy and feels safe for kids.
It's a lovely place. Thank you.

Liked Friendly welcome. We stayed here with a car and caravan extra car and a van and the owners were very accommodating and gave us a choice of pitch that more than fit us all in with plenty of room on level pitch right next to the river.
The facilities were amazing with family bathrooms and with a huge washing machine that only cost £3.50 was great.
The neighbours were also so friendly and even offered us to use their canoes to take kids on the river.
There was pop up stalls selling jams/honey ect and 1selling jewellery and she made to measure a piece for my 2year old. We really enjoyed staying here.
There was no discrimination on what vehicle you use or how many people in your group. BBQ and campfires allowed with plenty of pits to hire onsite.
And such a good night sleep as everyone was respectful of quiet time with no noise after 10:30. Would definitely recommend and would return here in a heartbeat. Can’t rate this place enough. And excellent Wi-Fi all around the site that is free.

Liked We randomly booked as a last minute 3 night stay from the moment we arrived we were met by a lovley lady who took us down to the pitches and shown to a choice of beautifully maintained grass pitches to choose from . Everyone was so friendly especially Andy who nothing was to much trouble. The showers are lovely and hot and perfectly placed so easy to reach in the night or morning . Plenty for the kids to do with football pitch and basketball hoops and the river being the best thing both out teenagers spent hours catching little fish and paddle boarding down the river so much fun we will most definitely return.

Liked A Hidden Gem in the Heart of West Wales – Afon Teifi Caravan and Camping
We recently stayed at Afon Teifi Caravan and Camping, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. Nestled along the beautiful River Teifi, the site is a peaceful retreat that offers a perfect balance of natural beauty, friendly hospitality, and well-maintained facilities.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners, who went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. The pitches are spacious, level, and thoughtfully laid out, with plenty of room for both caravans and tents. The river running alongside the site creates a serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature.
What really stood out was the cleanliness and quality of the amenities. The shower and toilet blocks were spotless, with hot water always available, and the washing-up area was equally well-kept. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into maintaining the site to a very high standard.
The location is ideal for exploring West Wales. Whether you're kayaking on the River Teifi, visiting nearby towns like Cardigan, or taking a day trip to the coast, everything is within easy reach. For wildlife lovers and walkers, the surrounding countryside is simply stunning.
Afon Teifi Caravan and Camping isn’t just a place to stay – it’s an experience. Peaceful, picturesque, and perfectly run. We’ll definitely be returning and can’t recommend it highly enough.
5 stars without hesitation!
