What customers say
This well-kept site has level pitches & clean facilities. Staff are friendly, and the on-site pub serves delicious food. Great for scenic walks & exploring Abergavenny. Some found pitches a bit close & noted minor shower issues, but most loved the welcoming vibe. They'd return! Improvements are underway.

Liked Location, restaurant and bar was good but do book when they are busy that’s it
Disliked Shower block could do with renovating. Especially the lights in the male shower block

From the manager: Thank you Adam for your review and feedback, we have a refurbishment planned for later this year to remedy the dated and tired shower block, hope to see you again soon

Liked Easy access, good facilities, level pitches, superb chemical disposal, on bus route,
Disliked Pitched felt cramped. Some pitches back to back. Would be nice to select yoir own pitch to create more privacy. Field would benefit from some modest hedges.Riverside walk is tree lined so not much of river is visible. River level currently (Aug 25) very low.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback and review, we do have the facility to choose your own pitch on our website and have had all year, we actually have plans to plant hedges later this year (November) , sadly, can't help with the river levels right now, the sun has baked everything dry

Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely campsite with wonderful owners and fantastic food. Highly recommended!
However, our experience was slightly marred by an unpleasant encounter with a staff member. Before leaving, my wife was accused of knocking too aggressively on a toilet door after being asked to do so by the manager. This led to the staff member confronting her not only once but twice—in front of other guests, which I felt was unnecessary and unprofessional.
Unfortunately, this incident has left a negative impression, and for that reason, we likely won’t be returning anytime soon.
Disliked Unfortunately I can only remember my wife being upset for doing nothing wrong.

From the manager: Thank you Mark for leaving a review, difficult position so opting to not comment regarding your wife being upset on this occasion. We do wish you the best of luck going forward.
