What customers say
Guests love the quiet, private setting & friendly owners. Accommodations are clean & well-equipped for peaceful breaks. Minor gripes: a stiff door lock & awkward dining table. A dog attack by an owner's pet raised safety concerns re: "dog friendly" policy.

Secluded, peaceful and a lovely break
The Hideaway shepherd's hut
Liked Everything, we went here for my partners 50th birthday and it didn't disappoint. The hideaway was in the perfect location, calm and peaceful which is what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, including a cooker, microwave, fridge and tv. The bed was super comfy and the added lights and small log burner made it even more cosy in the night. The owners were amazing and ensured we had all that we needed and was told to just ring if we required anything else, other than they left us to enjoy our little break. Shops, pubs and restaurants are only 20 mins away. A lovely place which we will definitely be visiting again.

Friendly people, and the cutest little…
The Hideaway shepherd's hut
Liked Friendly people, and the cutest little hut, perfect for a quiet getaway for 1 or 2 people, set in a lovely garden.
Disliked Just a few minor things which the owners would be aware of if they packed a bag and spent a night in the hut as if they were a guest. The door is difficult to lock and has a knack that we had to ask about - it is also very stiff and would be tricky for someone with arthritis. Bathroom needs a bit of a clean but, to be fair, the cobwebs round the ceiling only show up when you are having a shower. The folding dining table isn't very practical now the wall-folding bed has been swapped for a sofa bed, as it is in the way of the table. A few toys in the garden would be fun - swingball, perhaps.
