The Hideaway shepherd's hut
Liked The Hideaway was a perfect place to escape to for the night, from the twinkly fairy lights strung across the ceiling, to the cosy furnishings and fantastic garden setting.
This tiny bit of heaven had everything we needed and delivered it all with style, comfort and attention to the little things that make life just that little bit easier, and let's face it, nicer.
Bed linen, towels, dish cloths, hand soap, washing up liquid and tea towels were all provided. It was a real home from home and perfect for a last minute getaway for two, plus dog. The large garden area and verandah area were a real bonus, especially with our excitable four-legged friend in tow.
The location was great for exploring the local area, and with the M4 just a few miles away, it was really quick and easy to get around. We particularly enjoyed discovering Ogmore Castle!
Add in the relaxed and friendly welcome and you really couldn't ask for more.
A genuine gem!
Disliked Nothing - I've always wanted to stay in a shepherd's hut, and this one was perfect. It was everything I hoped it would be.

Secluded, peaceful and a lovely break
The Hideaway shepherd's hut
Liked Everything, we went here for my partners 50th birthday and it didn't disappoint. The hideaway was in the perfect location, calm and peaceful which is what we were looking for. The cabin was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, including a cooker, microwave, fridge and tv. The bed was super comfy and the added lights and small log burner made it even more cosy in the night. The owners were amazing and ensured we had all that we needed and was told to just ring if we required anything else, other than they left us to enjoy our little break. Shops, pubs and restaurants are only 20 mins away. A lovely place which we will definitely be visiting again.
