  • Well-maintained adults-only touring site with views of Anglesey hills
  • Traeth Lligwy and Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path 10 minutes’ drive
  • Communal firepits; modern facilities with a pamper zone
Sprawling views of meadows and mountains. A short hop from Anglesey’s famed sandy beach of Lligwy. What more could you want? Well, at Dulas Meadow, you also get peaceful adults-only touring pitches and uber-modern facilities. Even better, dogs are welcome on site, so Fido gets to share in your Welsh island adventure, too. This is a peaceful site that doesn't allow group bookings. There are three water points close by, so you never have to walk far for a drink. A special mention also goes to the shower blocks, both fashioned from wood, which are really quite deluxe. Meadow Blossom is a chill-out cabin with a pamper area, while Flushing Meadow has a spotless shower and two loos. They’re more VIP areas than anything you’d expect to find in a field on Anglesey. When it's time to slow down and unwind, head to the on-site Sunset Sauna (additional fee applies), a peaceful woodfired sauna overlooking open green fields. And when you’re up for making new friends, there are two social areas with firepits where you can bump into other guests and reminisce about your day’s adventures. If you’re not feeling the chatty vibe, there are plenty of quiet corners for moments of solitude surrounded by gorgeous nature. If you’d like to use public transport while staying at Dulas Meadow, there is a bus stop at the end of the lane. The number 62 bus between Cemaes and Bangor on the mainland stops there regularly throughout the day.

What customers say

This adult-only site gets rave reviews for its stunning, quiet setting and spotless facilities, including a popular ladies-only spot. Guests love the friendly, helpful hosts, spacious, well-kept pitches, and prime location for exploring Anglesey. Occasional wind and a wish for more showers at busy times were minor notes. Owners’ commitment to a top-notch stay is often praised.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked It’s a beautiful little site, great facilities and wonderful, welcoming hosts.

Disliked Please be aware that Anglesey can be VERY windy! We had to cut our stay short because our tent wasn’t really up to it. We were gutted cos we loved the site, but there’s nothing they can do about geography! Will definitely be going back there but will check the wind forecast first!

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked Everything, perfectly cut grass, sunning views, peace and quiet. ( that was disturbed by our two talkative sausage dogs :)
The owner Greg had been very friendly and helpful!
Bathrooms very clean and well equipped!
The sandy beach pretty close by, dog friendly and quiet with few people during tides💙
We definitely will be back at some point!

Disliked If you need bigger shops that have ice, you need to drive to Bangor although there are small shops nearby if you need essentials ☺️

Local attractions

Fringed by dunes, the vast sandy expanse at Traeth Lligwy (10 minutes’ drive) is a top spot for walks (dogs are welcome, which is another bonus) or for digging around assorted rockpools. From there, you can also access the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path for windswept walks along the shore. It was the ancient Romans who started mining at Mynydd Parys | Parys Mountain Copper Mine (10 minutes). After centuries of mineral extraction, the desolate landscape is reminiscent of something from a sci-fi movie. The acid conditions of the ground mean that only some rare species of lichens are able to thrive here. Make your way to the easternmost tip of Anglesey and Trwyn Penmon Point (40 minutes), with the 19th-century Trwyn Du Lighthouse and views of Puffin Island, just offshore. To see the resident puffins (plus other seabirds including cormorants and guillemots), you’ll have to catch a boat from Beaumaris, a 15-minute drive from Trwyn Penmon Point.
