What customers say
A welcoming spot with super staff, especially Trevor. Clean amenities, roomy pitches, and good on-site food. Fishing and fire pits are big hits. Usually quiet, but occasional event or road noise. Toilets can be a walk for some, and were busy, but things have improved.

Great choice for couples. A good base to explore the surrounding areas
Powered grass campsite
Liked Pretty much everything really! Grassy field was mowed short and pitches were generous. Shower/toilet blocks clean and always pleanty of loo roll (good quality too).
Pub prices at the Peg and Mallet were cheap and there was a good selection of drinks. Live entertainment on Fri and Sat night.
Food van always busy when open, looked ok but we didn't use it. All staff were friendly and helpful. Overall I would highly reccomend for the price we paid
Disliked Only dislike is that you can't really walk anywhere from the site as the road can be busy and there are no pavements.

Lovely site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Live music and quiz was brilliant. Toilets clean and Trevor was brilliant. One text and he was there with logs in minutes. Our first visit and will defo be back.
Disliked Only small thing would be maybe a small shop with essential or somewhere to get a coffee in the morning. We left our coffee at home would have been handy to have a shop or pop up cafe.maybe the food van on site could do breakfast

Lakeside powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked First time camping in years and this site didn't dissapoint.
Highly organised, spotlessly clean, and warmly welcomed upon arrival by Trev, with a check in letter listing all the essentials.
The staff spin around the site morning, afternoon and night checking in on every one, making sure everybodies ok.
The Peg & Mallet with live music and an amazing fire pit was the cherry on the cake
Good dish washing facilities with the use of a fridge and freezer, which is fab for us campers.
Onsite burger bar, which we didn't eat from but, the chicken curry looked great.
Pwhelli is a 10 min drive with an Aldi and ASDA along the way.
Take a torch, the site is understandably dark when the sun goes down.
Disliked Shower block is a little walk away from the pitches which was fine for me as I enjoyed the fresh air, but don't get caught short.

Liked Greeting to pitch by site staff was good, friendly and helpful.
Facilities for all waste disposal was decent.
Other pitches in other field looked better spaced with hedges between. Mightve had a better experience in one of those pitches.
Shower block was kept very clean which was good for toilets but just a shame about the water situation during our stay
Disliked No water in shower block for first day. Showers not very warm when block had water running the following day even after multiple presses of button. Window open in block, unable to shut, also made it shivery and cold. Was glad we only had a short stay with the shower facilities as they were.
Pitch we were given was fairly close to both neighbours despite no awning used by us. One of the neighbours decided playing loud rock music at 7am for a considerable length of time was acceptable. Thankfully the genre was decent but it felt like a lack of consideration at the volume and length of time it was played at. Maybe as we weren't a seasonal pitch unlike them and others nearby they didn't feel they needed to be more considerate.
Lots of mess at the back of seasonal pitches making it difficult to access water etc.

Liked What a site this is. We had a large number of guests on the 1 booking over a busy bank holiday period and they couldn’t have done more to accommodate for us.
It’s clear to see the effort put in by the owners and the team, with so much to do all without leaving the site. Incredible pub with live sport on site, live music, great food, bonfire, kareoke and more. This caters for anybody looking for a great trip away with family or friends.
Would highly recommend anybody to book this site! We will be returning.

Liked Beautiful site and really friendly staff. Loved the Peg and Mallet pub. Great atmosphere and the food from the take away station was to die for.
Short drive into Pwllheli which has some amazing cafes for delicious breakfasts.
This was our first stay here but most definitely won’t be the last. We’ve already recommended the site to numerous people.
