Great rural spot with stunning mountain views. Spacious pitches & super clean facilities (hot showers too!). Friendly staff & farm animals loved by kids. Ideal base for exploring. Narrow access road & occasional Wi-Fi are minor downsides.

Great site, friendly staff
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked It was our first camping trip as a family with our 3 year old son. He loved his stay! Site was very clean, showers worked very well. We liked to use the family shower room. Feeding donkeys was a highlight and playground was a great addition. There is a narrow road leading to the site, but we never had any issues to get there or leave the site.
Disliked Nothing.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Driving down the road leading to the campsite we were in awe. What a beautiful setting. When we first arrived the staff were incredibly friendly, sharing local knowledge and eagerly showing us around the site, explaining everything that was needed. The site was very well kept and clean throughout, and our very generous pitch had the most incredible views. The sound of the farm animals and the peaceful surroundings made for a very pleasant week away. The whole atmosphere at the campsite is very relaxed and everyone was friendly and courteous. Add in the great extras of a utility room - with microwave, fridge-freezers, washing machines and tumble dryer, along with sinks for washing up and an information unit with great local places of interest to visit - plus the wonderful, large scale maps and ideas of places to visit on the walls outside the reception (which sells lovely local goods and basic supplies) and a super playground for younger children and you have all that you need. Well, except the traditional firepit... Which you can hire along with the necessary logs and kindling from reception, and you have a perfect campsite which, once visited, will no doubt have you yearning to return to again and again. Highly recommend!
