What customers say
This well-kept campsite offers fantastic mountain vistas & a lovely riverside spot, a quick stroll from Beddgelert village. Guests rave about the friendly staff, roomy pitches, & clean amenities. It's a prime spot for hiking in Snowdonia. While mostly peaceful, some found WiFi spotty and had minor notes on older shower facilities or midges.

Great for walkers
Powered cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Fantastic site with stunning views. Friendly helpful staff who kept the site immaculate. Loads of great walks from the site ( including two lakes) and a short (20 min) walk into Beddgelert. Spacious pitches and very peaceful. We’re planning to return next year.
Great wi fi too.

Liked The location was stunning, the pitch was perfect for us, not too close to the river which was great for us with our younger kids. The staff were very helpful. The toilet, shower and washing up area was very clean and I saw some saying it was dated but I didn't feel like it was, it was exactly what you needed, the water was lovely and warm in the showers.
The location of water and recycling was great, didn't have to go too far to get to the facilities.
The kids and adults had a great time, our first experience camping and we will 10000% be back.
Disliked WiFi if I was being picky was intermittent, but we had stuff downloaded for the kids for in the evening when they wanted to chill.
Bitten alot by the midges, but thats no fault of the campsite!

Excellent location, peaceful. Great facilities. Helpful staff.
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Loved the stream surrounding the campsite. It was so picturesque being surrounded by mountains! It wasn’t windy and you have so much room on the pitches. The facilities were great. All clean.
Lovely location, central to walk into the village where there was a lovely pub! Great atmosphere. Friendly people. Maps provided.
Disliked Only logistical issue was needing more toilet roll but that was resolved quickly.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Beautiful scenery and location was perfect for the village and access to Snowden
Disliked It was very expensive but we appreciated the stunning location - however running out of toilet paper in every loo was very poor and not what i would expect from an expensive site. I did let them know and got no apology!

Liked Location was perfect and the pitches were well maintained. The lady that checked us in was super friendly. The extra field for families or children wanting to play was a nice touch, and it had a few picnic benches. It was a short walk to the local town which had a gift shop and lots of pubs and restaurants. Short drive to Mt Snowdon. Didn’t try out the activities but there was plenty of water sports at the lakes nearby.
Disliked There was no small shop on site just for basic things such as firewood. A shop isn’t essential but it would have made a nice touch. The shower block seemed a bit worn, and a lot of people didn’t use the squeegee after they’d been in, which takes 2 seconds, just to make it slightly more pleasant for the next person using it. We were made to sign a disclaimer as we travelled with two other couples regarding understanding the site rules and quiet time, however there were others that clearly ignored that, that weren’t part of a group and blasting music until midnight.

Beautiful location but not for us
Powered cement/asphalt and grass RV campsite
Liked Location is beautiful, short walk to Beddgelert, nice site with lots of facilities
Disliked Didn’t find it was well managed, bins full, toilets without toilet rolls, lots of rules which we were comfortable with, but nobody stuck to them and nobody reminded those clearly not following. I paid for pitch with water, but there wasn’t any water, tap close by, but another pitch constantly hooked up. Not good value
