This is a clean, well-kept campsite in a beautiful spot with stunning views, a short drive from Bala Lake. Guests rave about the spacious, level sites and spotless washrooms. Staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It's family-friendly, with a playground and alpacas to feed. Powered grass tent campsite
Liked Pitch was clean, grass was level and a good size. Power was literally on the pitch so very easy electric hook up.
Facilities very clean and close.
Great fishing area, 5 minutes across the field to the River Dee where we sat and attempted to fish for the afternoon.
The site manager was very helpful and accommodating. First time camping with Husband and kids (6 and 3) we all I had a great time and plan to return.
Disliked Lights around the bathroom/shower area stayed on throughout the night, which I understood works well for safety but ruined the star gazing/night sky experience.
Play area wasn't great, it would be nice if there were more children's facilities as they have the space.

Liked Large and level grass pitch. EHU with water tap at same point.
Open site and although plenty of pitches it was quiet and pleasant.
The facilities are clean and plentiful. For the size of the site, you didn’t have to wait or queue to use anything.
The site host Elin was very helpful and available either in person or otherwise by mobile/text.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Location to Bala town and Bala Lake, great facilities, Elin was lovely and we felt welcome!
Swings were great!
Loved the alpacas!
Disliked Could have had a kids or family shower room, was hard as a single dad to get a 5 year old into the men's showers without her feeling uncomfortable.
Could have had abit more for kids on site but the swings were great!

Liked Overall the site was lovely. The lady running the campsite was super helpful, friendly and approachable. She was always around site whenever we needed to ask her anything. The toilet block and showers were cleaned regularly and were in great condition. There was a lovely little farm shop on site stocked with all the essentials, including alpaca feed! The best part was the alpacas on site that you could feed! Definitely would stay here again.
Disliked Only thing would be that the WiFi wasn't fantastic but is honestly expected due to the remoteness of the site.

Great clean site and views
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great size pitch . We had a caravan on fully serviced pitch hard standing and our son and grandson could pitch opposite us in their tent. In the corner so we could see him on the park. Clean facilities. Helpful staff. Small onsite shop. Great location for Bala paddle boarding. Good WiFi and tv signal. Alpacas to feed nearby and great views.
