Looking for somewhere to prop your feet up for a while with mountain biking trails, farm shops and walking routes a short drive away? Talog Tents might do the trick. This rural North Wales site is surrounded by some good-looking countryside scenery and the scenic walking trails that go along with it. And for extra measure, the site is just 15 minutes’ drive away from Llandegla Forest, a real treat when it comes to mountain biking trails. Since you’re out in the countryside, you’ll want to make the most of the mouthwatering local goodies that are dished out by the local farms. Luckily, there’s a farm shop five minutes’ drive away from the site and a vending machine specifically for farm-fresh milk and milkshakes in Treuddyn, five minutes’ drive away again. On top of that, there are several pubs within five minutes’ drive of the site for food (or ale) sampling. Don’t be fooled into thinking you’ll be cut off at all though, because the site has good road access. It’s also 20 minutes’ drive away from Wrexham and 35 minutes from Chester for those of you who want a lively day out. On site, you’ll have access to a composting toilet, an electric shower and fresh running water. All the facilities are recycled and reused on the site, so you’ll be safe in the knowledge that the site pays attention to the environment.
